Jamba — Restaurant in Idaho

I really wanted a smoothie bowl from Jamba Juice and I had a buy one get one free coupon that I bought for a school fundraiser. After deliberating on their menu we decided that we were going to have two delicious pitaya bowls, but when we asked if we could use the coupon the man said that the system would not allow it. He said “I don’t even think my system will let me use a buy one get one free on the bowls” We try to find some smoothies that would satisfy our desires for the tires but no such item on the menu could be found we walked away we walked away in shame. After our last run in with a horrible manager st wetzels pretzels, (please see our other review) we decided it was best to not fight the system and just go somewhere else. We ended up going and getting coke at McDonalds (5 stars) it was less healthy, but they didn’t treat us like we were all below and under command of “the computer system”. Overall We did not get our Pitaya smoothie bowls and we feel that if they didn’t want to participate in said fundraiser they shouldn’t have offered this coupon as an option. It only says buy one get one free. It does not say whether it excludes smoothie bowls, juices, smoothies, wraps, or food items, it is not specific but we decided to not fight it we decided to choose our battles wisely this was not one to fight. No one would emerge the victor. We’re still wondering if this guy was just lazy, or if he didn’t want to see Jamba Juice loose 4 dollars. We don’t know, there are better smoothie places in town anyways. Tree city smoothie is much better. Our review for them is pending. We’ll see what happens when we fill up our lunch card and try...

This place is a regular haunt for me because I work just a few steps away. Store manager Adam has created a wonderful culture of service, with a young staff that are engaged, polite, courteous and eager to please — attributes that are indicative of a company and management team that care for its employees.

Today was a case in point - because it was Black Friday, I didn’t want to risk a long wait in line to pick up my order, so I placed it in the Jamba mobile app when I parked my car. When I arrived at the store 5 minutes later, my order was already waiting for me despite the dozen or more people waiting to place or pick up their order. One of Adam’s crew delivered it with a smile as the rest of his staff efficiently handlers the controlled chaos of the day.

April Friday 12th around 7:45 I got a Cold brew coffee with the cream cloud and when I drank a bit I realized it was EXTREMELY SWEET not tolerable at all. I went back to ask if the drink is supposed to be that sweet and the girl who “helped” me said she didn’t know as she doesn’t drink coffee. The least you can do is inform your employees about the drinks you sell. She told me she could add more coffee to it, to make it less sweet and I agreed. Besides treating me like if I just bothered her and I was an inconvenience, ( I know it might have been but you close at 8:00 pm, and until then, you are required to stay open and help customers) when she brought back the coffee it tasted the same.
