I contacted the Walgreens on FM 78 and crestway in Converse TX Store 1194 today. I spoke to John, who claimed he was the pharmacist and in charge.
I called because my daughter's prescription was supposed to be sent to us via mail, however she ran out of pills yesterday and we still haven't received her medication. This medication is daily and cannot be skipped, so I was trying to track down what we could do to get her medication.
He asked me for her name and dob again, even though I had already given it to someone else, and then proceeded to "school" me on how I should be doing this on your app vs calling them by phone. Which I had already done but since we still didn't have her meds, I needed to speak to someone and he made it seem like it was such an inconvenience to him.
I gave him her information, to which he responded her medication isn't even here, it's at another store, you'll need to call them. I tried to explain that her prescription is and has been there for months and he told me "no ma'am it's not, call the other store". I asked him again to please listen to me, that I needed help, and he said "i already told you it's not here, you'll have to call the other store". I told him again I needed help, to which he responded "ma'am I have to go" then put me on hold and then hung up.
I called back and spoke to James the store manager, explained the situation and after about 8m on hold, I spoke to Cheryl, who confirmed her medication is in deed at that store, and that it had been mailed out, but that they tend to have issues with the mail service and it takes longer. She stated I needed to call my doctor and get a 5 day prescription called in so we could pick it up until we got the mail order. At least, she was helpful.
Two things, John your pharmacist should be fired or at the very least written up for being extremely rude to your customers. Secondly, you need a better prescription mail order service. People shouldn't have to go through all this in order to get their prescription, which they...

I only went because my daughter needed a medicine that costs $600 and the doctor gave me a coupon that only works at Walgreens. I didn't catch the pharmacists name but she is a brunette with glasses. I was given a 30 min wait for the prescription and I told the gentleman I would be waiting in the store. I went back around 30-35 min later and was told the coupon didn't work. Instead of calling me over the intercom they waited to tell me when I went up there thinking it was ready. So they offered another coupon and after another 20-30 min I got it activated and was in line. After the wait again I was given a copay of twice the amount from the first coupon. I asked why and she says well it's probably because I only have two 30 mg instead of the one 60 mg. Seriously?? All this time and she couldn't have told me they didn't have it in stock?? She didn't even give me an option of asking to order the correct one or if I wanted to pay double the copay. SMH after two hours of this nonsense I will never go back to this pharmacy. I will...
