Saturday, May 10, 2025 First visit. When I arrived there was a customer placing a bulk order. I'm waiting patiently. So the customer asked the young lady taking her order does she need to make a deposit or pay for it now. The young lady replied that the customer can make a deposit or just pay when picked up. So customer agrees to pay when order is picked up. Customer leaves the store and I am next . The young lady tells Lori (I guess store owner) about the order and the customer will pay upon pick up. So Lori says no call her (the customer)back "She knows she can't do that. " Like it was the customer's fault that the young lady gave her the wrong information. The customer comes back into the store, meanwhile I'm waiting on a sample and to order, they go over the details, she pays and leaves. Finally, I'm waited on. I wanted to try this estabhliment and the popcorn. However, I won't be returning because of 1. customer service(and not caring that you're bax mouthing a customer in front of a customer) 2. don't accept cash and charged me an extra 4% in addition to tax even though I paid via CashApp and Not debit card and 3. The Popcorn Was Just OK in Taste & Quality. I WILL CONTINUE TO PATRONIZE POPPIN STOP in Conyers in the Plaza with TJMaxx on Dogwood...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy kids football team participated in a fundraiser and a friend of mine who lives out of town made a purchase for pickup, she sent me her order number and receipt. My friend told me to keep the popcorn because her intention was to support the fundraiser. Upon my arrival to Remix I showed the order number and was asked for ID, because I didnāt have my ID card on hand I explained to the merchant that I am picking up on behalf of a friend who supported my kidās fundraiser. I was then told even with the order number Iām not able to pick up the order. I was told the team coach would be responsible for the order pick upā¦.After going back and forth about the relevance of the order number the merchant finally took the order number. She looked up the order printed the receipt and told me I had to sign it and give them my childrenās information that the fundraiser was for. It was just too much for me. I was finally given the $15 popcorn that was ordered with a side of attitude and no apology for the inconvenience. What I thought would take 5 minutes took about 20 min although I was the only customer in the establishment at the time....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe discovered Popcorn Remix at the Gateway Center Arena, where the Atlanta Dream and College Park Skyhawks play basketball. I tried the King Crab Legs popcorn as a joke and became addicted. I donāt know how itās possible to make popcorn taste like crab legs seasoned with Old Bay and dipped in butter, but they figured it out. I made the mistake of finding the storefront and tasting other flavors yesterday and now I want to drive 40 minutes to buy the largest bag possible and in it, I want to mix 50% Jerk Chicken, 30% Chedder and 20% Sea Salt Carmel. Of course, I will also get a bag of King Crab Leg, also for me, and the Chi Town Mix for my hubby. I think I may get another bag of White Cheddar and Cheddar Mix. Back to the reviewā¦The staff is amazing. The beautiful young lady helping us was welcoming and patient. Her mix recommendations were on point. The owner recognizes that having a successful Black-owned and operated business is a Blessing and shows his gratitude in all aspects of providing top quality popcorn to his customers. I hope this review helps. Now, I am off to buy...
