BJ Buffet Conyers — Restaurant in Conyers

Been a customer for years and bringing my family to eat where I thought I was comfortable. The stares I can look past but the discrimination on my adult black son who was with other members of my family I simply can't and will not! We enjoyed our lunch and service from polite Michelle (hope I spelled correctly) I asked her to put my family on one ticket and she did just that. When I got the register with my family my grandchildren wanted to wait outside which was no problem because again we're all on one ticket and I'm paying. The Indian I believe because I didn't get her name proceeded to say my son and grandchildren were walking out without paying and getting another server attention. My daughter caught on and quickly assured the lady we was all on one ticket once she saw she looked stunned and almost like she didn't believe me at first. I got no simple apology and was completely uncomfortable. I will be taking my family and business anywhere...

This was on Friday Aug. 8th at around 6pm. I had fried fish (ok), Salmon patties (not good), along with Chicken and Dumplings (BAD) with NO Dumplings and almost choked on Chicken bone still in the meat. Should have been called Chicken in yellow Goo. Service was so bad that I left no tip. She (Layla) came to the table once just to give me the check. I had to get her when I had a question and when I almost choked. When I asked for the owner or Manager, she informed me there was none. Worst time at an eating establishment I have ever had. The Senior Server was very nice and showed concern, unlike the other one. I probably won't go back, and to others I say be careful and inform them you do NOT want Layla. The first visit a couple of weeks before was good, but this one was so bad that after reading reviews it must have been a fluke and I lucked out the first time. Give it a try, but be warned. I gave 5 Stars first visit...

Happened to come across their listing on Google Maps and seen the reviews and decided to check them out. Very pleased that I did. I’m always in the area and never knew they existed and now I’m glad they do. The place was really clean and quaint but roomy. I loved the selection of food for the day and everything was fresh and well prepared. I went on a Saturday and not a crowd at all as I went in the evening. Staff was friendly and the young gentleman who waited on me was very professional, attentive, and accommodating. He made sure all of my needs were met and refills were on deck. I believe his name was Josh(If not I will return to edit this review with his correct name). I had the fried chicken, a salad from the bar, Mack n cheese, and salmon patties. Everything was delicious! I’m going back to try the other dishes soon! Really great first time experience all for $15! So happy I found...
