JD Crawfish New Orleans Seafood — Restaurant in Conyers

I was out about and stumbled upon this quaint strip mall and I noticed this seafood restaurant. I did a bit of google research by checking the reviews and walked in shortly after for a menu. I took my time reviewing all their delicious options and the aroma🤤 from the kitchen made it hard to choose. 😩 After checking the menu and probing on different variations and sauces I placed my order for the seafood pan. Oh boy! I was definitely in for a treat‼️🤤 While waiting on my order I scurried over to the local Chinese place for wings my kids opted for.(ps those were great too) About 10-15mins I received my order, it was well packaged with butter and my necessities to dine at home like a Queen basking in my under the sea treat from The likes of a NOLA place situated in metro Atlanta. Love this place. I hate to leave a semi bad review! Me and my family come here ALL the time for their fried swai, and we LOVE the alligator bites on occasion! So, alligator bites are 13.99, which used to only come with a box FILLED with alligator bites. Now, for some reason, all of the appetizers come with a side? So we get coleslaw, and it like the coleslaw is the main course!(as you will see in the attached photo)! It's like coleslaw and the sides are extra cheap, so they LOAD the box with the side, and give like 1/2 the alligator bites that typically come the order. I just feel that's a little janky trying to squeeze more of a profit. I mean, if i get a side of colesaw its pretty small, but they side of coleslaw for the appetizer is huge! I tried JD Crawfish New Orleans Seafood for the first time tonight. It looks like the restaurant is carry out only although lunch time may allow dine-in. I don’t know. (It doesn’t matter as most similar restaurants are doing the same lately). The customer service was excellent! Once the front counter lady realized that I would have to adjust my order, she brought it to my attention and made sure that my adjustments matched my original order. She was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the taste of my dish, fried flounder dinner with two sides plus one piece of fried Swai added on. Even after an almost 20 - minute drive home, my food was still hot. The fish and shrimp were seasoned perfectly and my sides were fresh and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and by the size of the fried shrimp. I will be returning soon.
