I have been a verizon wireless customer for over 10 years and never ever had anything bad to say until today. I came in today and was greeted when I walked in and was asked how could they help. I explained that my phone screen protector which comes built into the phone is coming apart which I had the same issue a few months ago and it was replaced. I was immediately told to call Asurion because "we don't do that here!" I was letting her know that it wasn't an insurance claim but more so a factory warranty. I told her I went to the Verizon in Lilburn and they pulled up my account and replaced the phone right then in their system and the phone was mailed to me the next day. She said "well we don't do that here!" Which she was really nice about it and didn't have attitude. My main thing was, you're not even going to ask for my number and review my account? I have never ever been into Verizon and not have my account pulled up. I did not want to go back and forth so I took the number and left. I sat in the parking lot and called Verizon and had my phone replaced without calling Asurion. My phone will be here tomorrow. A 10 minute phone call and my issue was resolved. Why could this not have been done in the store? I will be upgrading soon but won't be returning here...I'll drive back to Lilburn where I feel like a customer and not pushed off to...
Read moreNOTE: Despite the response to my initial review from TCC, I have yet to receive a copy of my receipt from the transaction in October. I've contacted TCC 3 more times via email to document my request. I still don't understand why they won't share a receipt for a transaction I should've been given at the point of sale. So I'll say it again - buyer beware!
Initial review CAUTION! While the team working at this store were friendly and "appeared" helpful at the point of sale, they (1) did not provide a receipt for our transaction and (2) caused a loss of many hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get my monthly bill straightened out. The promotion we were told we were being given wasn't properly set up on the account. Plus I had paid for the phone in full at the Conyers location, which wasn't properly documented either. So the Verizon customer service rep on the tollfree line told me the $382 bill I received was because the promotion was changed (after the fact!) and charged back to me. Can you say...bait and switch?! As I was visiting from out-of-town, I am unable to go back in to work through the issue in person. So if you decide to do business here, BE VERY CAREFUL! Their shady business tactics have cost me a lot of time and money. Disappointed in this store and Verizon -- would give zero stars...
Read moreThe store lied to me told me I got four free phones and I come to find out I'm paying $5 a piece for two of the phones and $0.80 a piece for two of the other phone and I'm in a 3-year contract so I can't even get an upgraded phone which is the reason I came to check on my plan and getting a phone and if I want to upgrade the phone I got to pay the balance off of all the phones which is like $800 The lady who signed me up I do believe does no longer work at this Verizon but soon as my contract's up I'm leaving Verizon beware do not come to this place I've had way better service with boost and MetroPCS but let's face it all these cell phone providers are crooked. Customer service at corporate also lied to me and said I could get a plan for 55 for all four lines. They also said if I paid him 800 bucks they would credit me back to 800 bucks and give me new phones which was a lie in my opinion just do not go to Verizon not saying the people who work at this store are not good people cuz the lady I talked to today seem very honest but I'm stuck to foot this bill and I signed up for free phones and I'm not getting free phones I'm getting charged bad business. Called the number below have yet been able to reach someone waiting on them to call me back...
