While shopping at nearby stores, we decided to give Mandarin Garden a shot.  We walked in, clueless about the place, and got a friendly greeting. After reviewing the take-out menu, we settled on two orders of Sesame Chicken—one with fried rice and the other with white rice. The person taking our order mentioned that the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Setting a timer on my phone, we walked to another nearby store and returned right on time. As promised, the food was ready when we arrived. We packed everything up and headed home.  The food itself turned out to be good, though, in my opinion, it tasted more like Sweet and Sour Chicken than Sesame Chicken. One positive note was that the chicken actually tasted like real chunks of chicken breast and wasn't drowned in breading. Overall, the food and service were good.  3.5

Everything I ordered was BLAND. The General Tso chicken was soggy and poorly prepared. The house lo mein only had 3 shrimp and beef pieces in it. There should be shrimp, chicken, pork, and beef (thus making it HOUSE SPECIAL LO MEIN) The lo mein was absolutely terribly prepared, not cooked long enough.. My pot stickers/ dumplings were very dough like and they were supposed to be fried...the beef dish i ordered was gummy in texture....awefuI. spent about $75.00 on this order. Money directly in the trash!!!!!! Not cool in today's economy when treating your family to a takeout meal is truly a luxury...very disappointed will NEVER order from here again. I will also post this to ALL my social media platforms!!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮

I've eaten here a lot, but never again. I was almost done with my meal when I found a worm or some other kind of bug in my food. I let the waiter know about it, who told the manager. She came over and told me it was "from the corn" and "not a bug", even though it obviously was. She made no attempt to apologize or offer to comp the meal. It was a gross experience and bad customer service. I'll be finding a better, cleaner restaurant to enjoy in the future.

Confused on how to review this restaurant. My husband and I went in the evening about a month ago- it was wonderful. It felt like a nicer restaurant, it was quiet and nice- had a great atmosphere. The food smelled delicious and we ordered off the menu a perfect meal and evening for the two of us. Our service was spot on. The food was perfect and we even ordered some to take home for the next day. However, we went again during the day to try their lunch buffet and it was the complete opposite. I was horrified. It was loud and busy- we ordered the buffet and were given no direction. A lot of the food was already drying out and empty and it was only 11:30am. The Triple Delight was amazing- and their fried shrimp (for the sweet and sour) was also great. BUT- there was no soup on the bar. I asked if soup was included in the buffet and our server said he had to go get it. He asked what Kind and I replied Wonton. It took a while for him to bring it back, so i assumed it was fresh or something... but if you look at the picture- you can clearly see that the broth was like water and there was only one wonton- the bonus was that there were other veggies such as water chestnuts and bamboo shoots in the "water"- at least, my husband got a bamboo shoot in his. Mine had some water chestnuts. After the wait, you would think that our soup would have had least looked presentable...or had more than one wonton. I don't know if we will be back to try- maybe we will order to go, but the buffet and lunch crowd were just...

This restaurant has been repeatedly rude. They often seemed annoyed when picking up an order. This time was the worst. After checking the order to make sure it was correct my wife paid and left. When she was back in the car they called her on her cell phone saying the order was incorrect and to bring it back. My wife, on checking the receipt again said it was correct but took it back in to be checked by them. The employee literally snatched the bag out of my wife's hand and ran back to the kitchen with it refusing to look at it with my wife. When she came back she handed my wife another bag that had been sitting on the buffet counter. To top it all off, instead of the orange chicken, which was ordered, and was on the receipt of the original order she was originally given and taken away, when she opened up the order at home IT WAS SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN NOT ORANGE CHICKEN!! For a business that depends on the customer, they sure don't seem to value them. Needless to say, we will...
