Westmoreland's Time Shop — Local services in Conyers

Like so many things in life, finding this shop was a lucky happenstance. Needed to have the battery replaced in my wife's watch which was more than 45 years old. The battery hadn't been replaced in more than 3 years. Long story - short: After the battery was replaced, there still seemed to be a problem with the watch. Wade worked on the watch for about 10 minutes and only returned it to me when he was satisfied that it was working properly. He advised that the watch may be needing servicing in the future, but that was something they were capable of doing in-house. He didn't charge me for his time, only for the battery. I was so impressed with his staff's professionalism (sadly I failed to get names) that I purchased a replacement watch band for my watch. I love Conyers, and I got a new Watch repair store. I'm a decent tier watch collector owning Seiko, Citizen, Breitling, Omega, Invicta, Rado, & Bulova. So I'm somewhat knowledgeable about great watches. One of my Invicta Objet D' Art watches hand came off. I was going to trash it and buy another one. My good friend who is older than me said go to Westmoreland. Invicta quoted me $40, but I had to ship it to them. Drove to downtown Conyers and was quoted a great price, and will get it back the next day. Sweet! So I got a few batteries changed in a few other watches. Incredible experience at this quaint shop. I was looking for a leather strap for my Hamilton Pilot day date for a wedding the next day. I was immediately met with assistance. There was literally no wait or hassle as it took them maybe 10 minutes to exchange the strap and service my watch. As I was walking back to my car I was going to attempt to set the time on my watch only to realize they had already taken the initiative and set the time, day, and date on my automatic watch down to the second without even a request. You can tell these guys love watches as well as servicing them. I will be back whenever I need my watch...
