DG Market — Local services in Cookeville

Buddy, Slick, or Pal seems to be the greeting that has taken the place of Sir or Mam. Its rude and very unprofessional. I came across a manager in the store today while shopping and greeted him with "good morning sir". His response was "hows it going PAL". I guess I should remember its a dollar store and just over look it but it bothered me so much mainly because of the look on his face when he said it. The cashier who remembered me from when I use to shop here alot was very friendly and courteous as she always is. She said she had not seen me in a while and was coureous as to why. Well, to answer that question, just read this review. I will not shop here again because the management is poor and they really do not appreciate your business. They could care less if you shop there or not. I sure miss the days when Cookeville was a small town and the stores really did appreciate...

MUCH nicer than the normal Dollar General stores. It doesn't feel cramped like those do and theres also not product carts in every aisle that makes it a pain to maneuver a cart around like most Dollar General stores. They also have a much bigger and nicer selection of item comparatively. The seasonal section is great and includes everything you need for every holiday. They also have a nice grocery section with really competitive prices. Parking lot has many scrapes available that start really close to the store so theres never much of a walk. Employees are friendly and very helpful and you never have to stand in line very long when checking out. This store is located in a great location that's easily accessible from anywhere in town. I always choose this store over a smaller Dollar General when I need to pick a few things up and they always have...

I want to say thank you to the most awesome cashier I have ever met. I have the Dollar general app I love the app I always save money with it no matter what but tonight she was awesome. The stuff that I bought normally would have cost over $100 she helped me coupon this to where I paid like $50 for $100 worth of stuff. I got a total of $47 or more just in coupons from my website and the coupons that she helped me with. I will forever be grateful to her because right now money is tight for everyone and she made my day doing what she did and she was patient and nice you couldn't have asked for...
