I am rather disappointed at the service at this location today. I have spent A LOT of money here and at other HLs. Today I went to return some items I had purchased a few days ago that were on clearance. Two of the items were cracked when I purchased them (a pendant light and a vase). The opportunity I had to use them in a project was no longer viable so I brought them back, as I am accustomed to HL having no issues with returns as long as they are within the time limit and you have your receipt. The cashier did not seem to believe me when I said the items were cracked when I purchased them (which I assume was why they were hugely marked down for clearance). She called the customer service manager over to advise. This manager was very condescending but basically said that the light was not returnable bc it was discontinued. Then she walked away. Iām sorry, what? Since when? It does not say anywhere on the receipt about discontinued items being non-returnable. I told the cashier that and said that no one informed me of that when I purchased it. I told her I was not going to accept that. She called the manager over again and when I explained the same thing to her, she had the balls to ask me if I asked the cashier when I purchased it. Why would I?? How would I know to? Huh? She then said she would check with another manager. All this happened while there were other people patiently waiting in line behind me. Itās not as if any of us have anything better to do. š The other manager came over, saw that I had only purchased the items a few days ago and had my receipt and said I was good to return them. Finally, someone who knows their stuff! But no apologies for the crappy customer service or for the unfriendly demeanor that was displayed to a long-time customer. I literally felt guilted about making a return (there were other comments made about the fact that I got these items under huge markdowns⦠not sure why that was said). If HL is going to allow returns and I abide by their rules, there should have been no problem. Anyway, they processed the return but I left feeling very uncomfortable with the way that was handled. I donāt need drama in my life because people here seem to lack respect for customers. Horrible. Also, always check your receipts at HL⦠they are often incorrect. At this visit I didnāt mention to them that one of the items was charged incorrectly because it was already a hassle to do the return. Hobby Lobby really needs to better their checkout processes⦠itās super slow and the receipts are super generalized (under categories instead of the actual item names listed. Makes it hard to find something on the receipt. You have to go on price only.) I will definitely be less inclined to shop HL given...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe items here are sometimes really cheap and cool - Especially anything seasonal and holiday will have the hugest discounts/sales. Iāve gotten some different wonder woman and other dc comics items for cheap that were high priced items. But everything new, name brand - obviously price is expected to be raised in this case - is extremely overpriced compared to other nearby retailers. Places similar have the art essentials at a more reasonable price but seem to share the fly high prices on name brand colored pencils like prismacolor. You can buy the big sets of prismacolor pencils online way cheaper than here or at Michaels. They also needs more employees at the registers instead of standing around in the store doing nothing. I have a love hate for this store. I would give it a 2 but have bought the last one of many sales items that were def worth it. The religious aspect definitely makes it the shopping experience sometimes hilarious because of the corny sayings on their products. Upon reading those sayings - most of the time itās more a āyuckā vibe. But thatās just my taste. I donāt want cheesy, commonly used or uncommon quotes of religious inspiration on...
Ā Ā Ā Read more1st time in Hobby Lobby, I absolutely fell in love with it. But I was there to get a memory clay project for my black lab that we were going to lay down the next day (5/12/22) Then came time to check out. This is where the rating went to hell in a wicker hand basket, I asked about a rewards program or any active coupons I could use, rudely, she said no. Then I asked "on the website? Rude again she no we don't have any of that. So I gave her a $100 bill. Omg! Then came the eye rolling and with irritation asking her mgr who was headed out the door and asked for change. Ok so wow at this point it was a nice short run and also learned there are no rewards or coupons in mail circulation. I was so sad to start with, I was there for my furbaby's memorial clay paw prints. She gave us 10 years of 100% loyal friendship and love. I miss her so much. Thanks for reading this review. Below is the project I purchased for my furbaby "Biscuit" point being Treat your customers...
