
Started Cross Fit in March of 2012. I am 48 and I have always had some type of work out routine going all of my life. Loving to run and also a member of Cove Fitness since 2008 I started going to Cross Fit with some friends at work. Having to keep a good diet plan and a work out routine in place to assist with my high blood pressure, working out has been very important than ever in my life. My first vist to Cross Fit in Killeen, Texas was a very exciting and eye opening experience. To finally have a good Trainer (Ben)who quickly adopted me in to the Cross Fit Family was AWSOME!! I really thought I had a good work out routine. I would go to the gym spen about 2-2 and a half hours there get drenched in sweat and then leave feeling really good about myself. You could not tell me that I had not just had the best work out of my day each time i look at my tee shirt and see it soaked in sweat!!! Working out with my Cross Fit FAMILY has lowered my blood pressure,trimmed my body and worked muscles that I was not beginnning to touch in my on private work outs. Oh and yessssss the tee shirt DRENCHED..... and yes I do mean DRENCHED!!! Wish I had discovered Cross Fit earlier in my life. Could not mold a more helpful and challenging Trainer than Ben. He really makes our work outs feel like we are ONE BIG close family. Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās so hard finding a good gym. I literally look for good training and good people. The very first day I was greeted by coach Ali and invited in like family. Throughout the entire workout she guided myself and another fellow newbie with proper form and technique. She never let us feel like she wasnāt there to help. At the same time she pushed us to give our best and see what our body could do. The other gym members also cheered one another on and we got through our workout sweaty and accomplished. Thatās pretty much how the rest of our week went and now we just keep going and pushing one another. I also love that thereās more military spouses and mamas here just killing it in their workouts and pushing each other to leave it all on the mat. There are members here at every level and no matter the level they help each other. No one is left behind and even the last man or woman standing is cheered on. The owner and Head coach Ben is so down to earth and the voice you need when you need to push yourself through the hardest workouts. There is no excuses and nothing you canāt do which is exactly how it feels being at this gym. Literally anyone can do CrossFit here. Finding something that didnt require me to spend all day just to get a good workout was even harder. I tried everything from Pilates,Step Classses and of course working out on my own but never seemed to get the results I wanted so staying motivated seemed impossible. From day one of walking into Crossfit Beyond Limits I knew this was going to be a challenge. And it was but one that I am SO GLAD I faced. In 45 minutes I worked out harder than I ever had in weeks of takeing those other classes! Not to mention ALL body parts not just 1!! Results came quick and with just 2-3 days a week!! Im Hooked!
