Horrible experience didn't even make it into the store and had problems. I called to ask if someone would be available to trim my dog's nails initially spoke to Trevor he stated he had to check put me in hold and when he came back on the line gave me this long story about not being sure because the person that does it was suppose to go to lunch but lost track of time and SHOULD be clocking out. But I could go between 4-6pm and someone SHOULD be there... what??? Why would I drive 15 min when they're not sure someone will be available. I asked to speak to a manager they put McKenzie on the phone she was just as bad as Trevor said the same thing and told me if I came to the store and had to wait they would take care of me. When I asked how did she plan to "take care of me?" She couldn't answer as the manager she had no control of her employees nor could guarantee someone would be available all I was trying to do was to get a nail trimming for my dog. Clearly not only have I experienced this problem here's a review from another customer 2 months ago, she really wasted her time....
2 months ago I've been going here since it opened. I've even bought a few animals from here. A few weeks ago I went to get my dogs nails trimmed and the person that does it wasn't there. Ok, I get it, so I went home and I just went another day... It happens again. So I try yet another day ( the 3rd week in a row). I decided to call and make sure someone was there able to do it because it takes me a hot minute to get there from my house. The employee said that there was for sure someone there able to do it. When I get there with my dog I get told that no one was available to do it. My frustrations are quite high with this place and I will just go to a more reliable place in the future that won't...
Read moreMostly a good place. I tried the self dog wash once, and I don't really like their "soap free" shampoo. There really wasn't any way to get it to foam up, and I didn't feel like my dog was very clean after. Also I would have loved a hook to hang the leash and collar on while I used the bath. I didn't find an apron until after I was done....they were hung up in a weird place on some kind of grooming stand. There were dirty towels from previous customers on the floor. Just over all the self serve dog wash could be better. I also had one incident with an employee. I don't know how long the guy has been working there, but he helped me get fish. That day I bought 20 fish and a snail. He marked the bags with the quantity of each fish, but when I got home, I noticed I had only gotten 3 of one kind of fish that I had asked for and been charged for 5. Also he didn't mark the number for the snail I got on the bag, so it took longer to check out. The cashier had tried to call him on the radio, but he didn't have a radio on him. The cashier told him that he needed to get a radio, and he made a smart ass remark and told him just to call him over the intercom. It just seemed like that guy didn't want to be there. Fortunately when I got home and discovered the mistake, Ronny the owner of the store made everything right. I appreciate the customer service, but some of the employees could use some more training, or a new...
Read moreI visited the Copperas Cove location yesterday and was dismayed to see so many patrons without masks on in the store. After speaking with an employee, and then the store manager, Ronnie Hampton, I was told that although they have the signs up requiring masks in the store, they cannot enforce that mandate. I asked Ronnie if that meant the customers did not have to follow the other signs in the store like wearing shorts and shoes, or not handling the animals. He assured me that I was welcome to shop in his store without wearing clothes or shoes, and that he felt zero responsibility to public health by asking customers to wear a mask. He said it was all a periodical choice. He then refused to tell me who owns this particular franchise, as well as claiming that he has studied viral transmission and knows that masks aren’t necessary. Yeah, sure. Anyway, I’m sad that I have to take my business to another establishment that actually values the lives of others and has the ability to actually enforce their own signs. In the meantime, when you go to this store naked to set all the animals free (because Ronnie’s not gonna stop you) be sure to...
