I was hesitating to share a bad review but maybe it helps some woman in there decision. Last year I went to IMO, bc I’ve seen an Instagram post .. I received couple of treatments, Botox, lip dissolving and last but not least the „skin bootcamp“ and I got sold a few other products. In this post I want to focus on the „skin care bootcamp“ I have a very olive skin, easily to tan and I love being in the sun. Ok I had obviously some sunspots- freckles, but actually they didn’t bother me much, (also nobody ever ask) but the provider a lot. I ask before if this treatment will affect my skin tone , bc as I mentioned, I loved my skin tone.. of course the answer was no. End of the story after the last microneedling session, she used a high percentage of hydroquinone ( bleach) after the procedure. I honestly looked like a ghost afterwards, and my face skin was much lighter as my neck and body. One year later, my face still has a different color, then neck and my body .. it looks for me greyish, bleached and kind of unhealthy I tried to stop using all the skin bleeching products they recommended and sold me ( I had no idea, they all do this) I went into the sun, with, without sun screen to see if I will ever have my natural skin tone back but even almost one year after unfortunately not .. also all my spots are back, and are much more visible as before bc the rest of my skin color is much lighter .. before they where blending into my natural skin tone. Before you go there double check if your beauty standards are similar to hers otherwise it’s not the place to go. Also my lip dissolving journey was stretched over 3 month, I paid almost 6 thousand dollar for this .. she gave me Botox in my sad smile lines and I had a weird feeling and smile for almost 3 month. The Botox around the eye was very good, to stay honest. I wish I had done more research before I went, also be aware that you sign a waver at the beginning and give up all your picture right. With her luxury pricing I think it doesn’t go together and felt afterwards invading in my privacy. I hope this...
Read moreI feel compelled to share my thoughts on this experience because it has deeply affected me, to the point where it brings tears to my eyes whenever I think about it.
First and foremost, I must acknowledge the stunning atmosphere of the place. It is impeccably clean, with a wide array of great products. The staff is lovely, and Leslie, in particular, carries herself with utmost professionalism and speaks eloquently during the consultation. As a first-time botox/dysport patient, I was thrilled to have chosen her. Despite knowing that the treatment would be costly, I trusted that I would receive natural-looking and beautiful results, which were guaranteed.
Regrettably, I had no idea that the aftermath of the treatment would leave me with a deformed appearance and a lack of facial expression for the next four months. The issue stemmed from the excessive amount of treatment I received. Following the consultation, they presented me with an astonishingly high dosage of dysport to achieve the desired smooth and natural look. My instincts initially signaled that it was too much, but I put my trust in Leslie's expertise and paid $3,000. I ended up receiving over 20 shots on my face, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable for a significant portion of the year. I avoided being in photos and had little desire to leave my house. The people close to me were genuinely shocked by my altered appearance.
What truly disheartened me was the way my concerns were disregarded during the two-week check-up. Leslie seemed uninterested in hearing my feedback. Additionally, I reached out to them via email, providing detailed accounts and even attaching pictures of the botched job, but my communication was met with complete silence.
Overall, this distressing experience has left me petrified of ever undergoing botox/dysport treatments again. I had believed I was going to one of the best establishments in Miami, but unfortunately, my expectations...
Read moreDo not let these reviews fool you! I went to IMO about 2 years ago simply to get a facial peel. It was my first time trying out a peel and I had spent a lot of time researching and making sure it was the right treatment for my skin. Once at the office I was bombarded with all kinds of treatments that they wanted me to consider at a total of $5,000. When I told them I was only interested in the peel, their tone completely changed and their attitude was quite downgrading. Leslie even commented to me that if I thought her suggestions were too much, that office was not for me. I feel it's insulting to speak to your patients in that manner! However, I continued with the treatment since I had already given a deposit that was supposed to be credited toward my treatment. When later I was told the peel was not one of the treatments covered by my deposit. At the time, their website did not clarify what treatments would be covered by the initial deposit. I believe this office to be very deceiving, and only interested in your money. Do your research, Miami has a variety of excellent places with Real Dermatologists that will truly cater to their patients. I was lucky to find someone who listens to me and makes educated suggestions about my skin, and takes her time to explain all the procedures. Beware of...
