Read moreWent there to quietly study with a friend and even before we got started, the rude staff member was over authoritative about their role. They were asking me not to even talk at all. While I understand it is a quiet place, we weren't bothering anyone and I go to the local library in Orange County all the time without bothering anyone either. Here, we couldn't even communicate in a normal or even below normal tone to get set up. I ended up saying nothing, and we left and went to UM. The fact was that this person needed to relax a bit. Libraries used to have this silent notion, and they are generally quiet, so not loud, but the ones I've been to, talking in a normal voice is still allowed. I'm not sure why this person or library...
