I barely ever write reviews but I couldn’t pass the opportunity to share one of the most incredible experiences. I’d give a 10/10 if I could! My soon to be hubby and I were looking to get engaged a few months back and the idea of designing my ring came up. This worked well for us since I am particular about my jewlery and tend to fall on the lighter side in regards to even wearing any. Also being pretty non-traditional, I wasn’t all to crazy about pre made engagement rings.

Anyways, I walked into Santayana Jewlers for the first time- super nervous not sure what to expect or what reaction I’ll get in regards to being someone who knew barely anything about engagement rings or jewlery style or even what ring size I wore! Rudy took one look at me, and one look at an eclectic cluster ring with a mix of diamond and sapphires I had found online and was inspired by and I felt that was all he needed to help me design my dream engagement ring! He along with the entire staff - Stacy, Nuri & Vernd were so welcoming and pleasing to work it! I couldn’t of asked for a better group of individuals to undergo this amazing process with! I was not only welcomed, but creatively embraced which can be so hard to experience now a days!

We ended up with a raw diamond, cluster ring of varying colors of diamond for the final product. Everyday I look at it and fall more and more in love with it! The fact that I had the chance to sit 3-4 times with Rudy to design it and adjust it as needed makes it all the more special! (This probably isn’t the norm but I made quite a few changes. Also want to note, I heavily enjoyed each session! - it became my favorite part of the week in that season!)

My favorite parts of the process were the creative freedom, the understanding and knowledge Rudy has of his products but also being heavily keen to cater to my liking, feeling understood, engaging in stimulating conversation and THE 3D PRINTED MODELS! Hello 21st century! Being a low key nerd to the tech world, I was so fascinated to watch Rudy use his design program to 3D model the ring and even more so when he handed me a 3D model printed version of the ring! It gave us the chance to ensure the sizing was right, and the ring didn’t look too small or big + any other adjustments prior to actually seeing the physical ring! It was genius! They let you keep the molds also! (I wore mine for about two days, like a crazy person to ensure I liked what I was getting myself into!). As someone who can be so indecisive it helped calm my nerves and decide it was perfect!

Can I just say once more! The final product was stunning!! 😍 AND as I later found out, Rudy was in on throwing me off time wise (as to when the ring would be ready) so my fiancé could still give me an element of surprise!

I love this family so much! Can’t wait to return and design our wedding bands!...

Santayana is the best jewelry experience I've had. I recently moved to Miami from LA and was in the market for some custom weddings bands. My fiancé and I came in because we had seen their amazing reviews online.

Three reasons why we loved them:

They're genuine and transparent -- I was calling around to find a jewelry store with black diamonds for my band. When I called them they said they had one but then called me back to let me know that someone had come in to buy that ring. I really appreciated that they called me back to let me know because it shows that they're very considerate.

They're accommodating -- Rudy, the owner, helped us design the ring we had envisioned right to our specs! He even designed it on the spot for us and had us come back in to try the ring mold on. We thought this was a great experience because we weren't sure how it would turn or but he was very meticulous and professional with his designs.

High quality -- We came back to pick up our bands (my black diamond band and my fiancé's band). We were so pleased with our rings. The quality is great and the design was executed exactly how we had envisioned.

We are so happy with the end results and couldn't have picked a better jeweler to come to. We even referred our friends who are also engaged and they bought their custom bands here as well. That search led me to Santayana, and I’m so glad it did. From the very first phone call, Rudy was empathetic and eager to help. I sent him some photos of the original ring, and he called me back to talk through the details right away. By the time we met in person, he already had a 3D design ready on screen. We spent time reviewing every nuance together, and he even made updates on the spot based on small details we spotted. I never felt rushed or pressured—Rudy and his team made the entire process feel collaborative and thoughtful.

They 3D-printed a mockup, which I brought home to my wife. She was ecstatic! We returned together to confirm the fit and make sure everything was just right. Again, we were welcomed like family.

When we got the final call that the ring was ready, my wife and I went to see it—and she overwhelmed with emotion, it was her ring. It was perfect. Rudy and his team didn’t just recreate a ring, they recreated a memory. Their warmth, craftsmanship, and attention to detail made this experience unforgettable.
