Lilly Pulitzer — Local services in Coral Gables

This is probably a nice Lilly Pulitzer store. Based on feedback from other Lilly ladies, that is what I have heard. I was excited to visit on our day in Miami post-cruise. The online posted hours say they open at noon so we arrived at about 12:15 to enjoy the Merrick Park mall and shop. We were disappointed to find the sign on the LP store stating that due to “ongoing inventory” they would be opening at 1pm today 10/23/22. This was disappointing but not a huge deal, we went and shopped other stores in the mall first. The LuLuLemon on-site in FANTASTIC. Once we finished our other shopping, it was about 12:50 and we decided to sit on a bench near Lilly to wait. Once it was about 1:05, we tried the doors and they were not open. Staff just stared while we tried them. They were running a few mins late. No worries. We went to sit and wait some more. About 15 minutes later, another person tries the doors and they were still locked. Though staff did come to the door and speak to them and tell them that they would not be opening for at least another 30 minutes. Those staff members then exit the Lilly Pulitzer store and lock the doors. We decided to leave then and go to Las Olas Lilly Pulitzer in Fort Lauderdale only about half an hour away. When we left, the signs on their doors STILL said 1pm though they won’t be opening until around 2pm (or later if this trend continues.) I wouldn’t be as upset as I am except that we extended our parking payment literally ONLY to wait and shop at this LP, so that was just a waste. When we were waking back to the parking garage, through Neiman Marcus, we saw the sales associates who said they weren’t opening the LP store until later just shopping at Neiman. I'm never buying online again! Always stop by the store. The ladies at this location are so attentive. I appreciate that they're laid back, when I'm there just looking around they're chill, but when I have a question they're quick to jump in to help. I've tried on items at the store which you couldn't do online, and they're sweet to offer feedback if asked to. The store is impeccable, the fitting rooms are stunning and they have a good inventory. The only downside is that shops at Merrick Park charges for parking but that's not on the LP store.

Terrible customer service! I love to shop at Lilly Pulitzer and brought my friend to try and shop at Lilly Pulitzer first time . She had coupon from their website and salespersons there were looking at us with question and that we can’t use this coupon ! It was so incompetent. Also all three sale persons there were starring at us because we were speaking different language and were not nice at all . It is not experience I use to have at Lilly Pulitzer stores. I do not recommend to shop at this...
