This place has a lot of good reviews from people that havenât experienced other escape rooms. Once youâve done different escape rooms, youâll understand that the way they do things in this place are just disappointing. My husband and I spent $127 here as a birthday gift to my father-in-law and I feel like it was money wasted. The employee sitting in with customers in the room is unnecessary as a safety precaution. They could do it like everyone else and have a video camera in the room while communicating through a walkie talkie or something. Then they could have employees sit and watch the customers remotely; and if anyone is doing anything to risk their safety or messing with property then an employee can chime in and stop the customers from doing so. The guy that sat in with us did not hype us up, he was not into it, he lacked enthusiasm, and he killed our buzz. We felt like we couldnât be ourselves with him there. He volunteered hints when we didnât ask for them. He also was not clear when he explained hints and was misleading. I donât think he had the intention to do so or to be a certain way.. but that was the case. There no theatrics. Other places blindfold you while you walk into the room, they get in character, they get you excited, they lock the room door once youâre in, they turn the lights low, and they leave you and your friends ALONE to look around for clues and figure things out. Skip this one, try any other escape room. This is one is the cheapest but you get what...
Read moreWe were a group of 7 women and had a wonderful time. We did the "Game room" escape room and found it challenging yet doable. You are given 1 hour to solve the mystery/scavenger hunt. This one is more of a scavenger hunt. We spent about 30 minutes just gathering all the items for the clues. You can also request 3 hints during that hour. The hints were very helpful. We finished with 8 minutes to spare. The locks were tumbler locks so they were a little hard to see for those of us over 35. LOL Also, we were told we couldn't move the furniture, but then the attendant would move the trunks for additional clues so that was a bit confusing. Our attendant was lovely and made sure we had a great time. She took our pictures and gave us all buttons when we won. The only drawback is that there is a steep stair case to go in, and then the escape room was downstairs. If you are unable to climb stairs this place may not be for you. They also do not have many parking spots, so carpooling is the way to go. There is a public parking lot across the street, I believe. All in all, I would definitely go again, maybe with a couples group or my family. This was my first experience with an escape room. The last clue was the most challenging of all. Still not sure how we figured it out but someone in the group was smart enough to get...
Read moreThe only escape rooms in the area and really a bad example of them. Do not book if you are not fluent in English. Most of the puzzles are language or pun based. Only a single room and several of the puzzle rooms have Multiple books some of which you have to search every page for the clue (not the best when there are 40+ books) having the person in the room was pretty....annoying? They seemed like they wanted to leave, they just played on their phone for an hour. Would it be so hard to have a camera and intercom system like every other escape room? The themeing was not great. It didn't feel like a room in Sherlock Holmes' house. Like if they wanted to do things time period accurate...there really shouldn't be white boards and rolly chairs? The 2 input limit on the exit pad seems really arbitrary. There are extra steps to some of the puzzles that feel more like red herrings meant to waste time. My other 3 friends did not enjoy the rooms. We did 2 of them and I have done over 20 escape rooms in S. Florida. We escaped with like 15 minutes each time. All in all, it could have been better for the price. I would only recommend if you were really bored and like brain teaser puzzles (there's only like 4 puzzles a room and the rest is...
