Books... Books everywhere... It happened one faithful day in the summer. Barbra and I were on our way to our favorite book store. Barbra looked at me and said that she loved me, when I turned to see her she was now a dog. How did she become a dog if all my life I saw her as my turtle? I didn't know the answer but I knew that I would find out through my local book store. Barnes and Noble was named after my beautiful Barbra, that now when I turned my head wasn't a dog anymore, but was actually an aardvark. I didn't blame her, aardvark fluids are the coldest that anyone has ever known. This bookstore was able to tell me what was happening with my beloved Barbra, the staff didn't really help me much until I had asked the information desk but still the hello that they had provided had saved my now giraffe wife. The staff was courteous and polite, the store organized so well that my now cat wife had shed a tear. This store also has a coffee house smack dab in the middle that although wouldn't accept my magical horse woman wife because she was "horsing around" I completely understood. Read moreI usually come here because I enjoy opening Pokémon cards with my nephew, and I appreciate the one-item-per-person policy, it makes things fair and this location has always been my go-to. Today, I arrived right as they were opening new stock. There were two people ahead of me in line and three collection boxes available, so I assumed I’d be able to get one.
As I walked up, I noticed the third box tucked inside another box and pointed it out. An employee named McKenzie quickly hid it under the shelf and told me there were only two boxes. When I asked about the third, she told me smugly she was buying it herself.
Later on, I mentioned the situation to a friend who works at a local card shop, and he told me she often sells boxes to his manager. It seems like the employees are backdooring product for a quick buck, which is really disappointing. The experience felt very dishonest.
