Unfortunately this might have been one of the worst restaurant experiences Ive had. To begin with, the meals were an extreme let down for what was advertised. An Italian steakhouse serving undercooked pasta and nearly raw beef was very off putting. For our appetizers we ordered the Italian Meatballs which where quiet bland, the bread severed was moist and had a peculiarly nice dip for it. This might of been the best thing we had. For the main course I ordered the 26 Pappardelle al Maiale, the pasta was cooked fine but the overall dish wash underwelming, my fiance on the other hand ordered the Chicken Picatta and it was honestly in edible, coming from someone whos not a picky eater. The dish was extremely overpowered by lemon and the chicken was undercooked and soggy, the pasta was also undercooked and hard. We sent this dish back for a REPLACEMENT. We decided to order the Filet Mignon as this is a classic steak house dish and very difficult to mess up. We got the dish back and we’d asked for medium rare. The meat was very obviously undercooked and the insides were mainly dark red. The potatoes served tasted almost as if they where boiled instead of sautéed and the meat itself tasted as if it was not based at all, the flavor profile lacked immensely for a 50$ dish. We sent this dish back to be cooked a bit more as it might of actually gotten him sick if he ate it. Upon receiving the dish once more the insides where still to a point where they where raw, not medium rare or your average rare, but just BARELY edible. Afterwords giving him a stomach ache. Finally for dessert, i was really craving the crème brûlée despite this all, and yet again we were met with dissatisfaction. It was unevenly torched leaving it with dark bitter burnt pockets, the pudding itself was not bad though so i wasn't too sad. Im not sure if our server was having a bad day but she seemed extremely irritated after we sent back the first dish, going outside to cool down afterwards so we aren't sure if this Is the cooks fault mainly, but towards the end she was quite snappy with us as we expressed our disappointment in the meals. Overall, i don’t believe we will be coming back as it was our first time.

Today we decided to give Incontro a try due to every other Italian restaurant in the area being full. Incontro was empty, and now we know why. I will start with the positives, the service is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. The interior is clean and cozy but somewhat too dark. We also ordered a bruschetta appetizer that was quite good, so it had us excited for the main course. My wife ordered a carbonara pasta and I ordered a chicken piccata with pasta. Important to note that the prices are up there, around 25-30 dollars per plate but what Italian place isn’t charging just a tad too much nowadays? My wife also ordered a white sangria that she succinctly described as orange forward. Needless to say, she did not finish it. We received our main courses after 20 minutes and we were initially pleased with its presentation. I did not take any pictures. It’s too dark and I did not want to distract anybody with my flash photography. My wife’s carbonara, as she would describe it, tasted like she was drinking a glass of milk. I had a taste and confirmed her suspicion. I motioned to let the waiter now but she was too embarrassed to send it back. After tasting my chicken piccata, I did not share the same emotion. The chicken although tasty, cannot be saved by how bland the pasta was. Even mixing it with the sauce did not yield additional flavor. I respectfully let the waiter know of the dishes shortcomings. They offered to replace the dish, but given the quality of this meal, I declined. They offered a free dessert to make up for the mediocre pasta. I also declined. My wife did not. She ordered the crème brûlée, and she regret not declining the dessert too. The crème brûlée lacked flavor, and most importantly, the top of the dessert was not brûlée sufficiently for that sweet crack. Overall I would not return. Pricey and disappointing. See attached for receipt.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. We tried to eat here on Saturday nite 11/19 to celebrate a friend’s birthday. There were four of us. We had a reservation for 8 pm. We arrived and were seated immediately but it all went downhill from there. Our server finally came to the table and took our drink order and then took almost 15 minutes to bring the drinks. The two guys had old fashions and my friend and I each had a glass of wine. The server arrived at the table with two small carafes of wine but no glasses and said, “oh, someone must have taken your wine glasses.” He left and came back a few minutes later, we gave him our appetizer order. We ordered the meatballs and the calamari fritta…we received the meatballs maybe 15 mins later. By this time it was 845 and we had to ask if we could order dinner. We overheard another server going into great detail about the specials of the evening and we were excited to hear what they were, but our server flipped thru the specials VERY quickly on the tablet, he didn’t even describe anything. We placed our order and the server noticed that we had not received our calamari yet. He went to go check on it. The server seemed flustered and overwhelmed throughout the whole experience. When he came back out 15 mins later we told him that we didn’t want the calamari any longer because we figured the food would be out soon, we were wrong. The server came out a few mins later with an apology and a gift card from the manager for NEXT time. At 920 when we still had not gotten our food, I went in to speak with the manager who was busy chasing after some guests who got frustrated and left because the hostess was no where to be found, once he brought those guests in and got them seated he came to speak to me. He offhandedly apologized for the long wait and told me the reason was that the hood in the kitchen wasn’t working. I understand that things happen, I’ve been in the service industry for a while. But this is not the way to handle problems. There was no acknowledgment. We we’re basically ignored. Anyway, the manager promised to be out with our food in 5 mins. He was not. The server ( who we had not seen in thirty mins at this point) came out and started to say, “hey folks…” it didn’t sound like he had good news, so unfortunately we just informed him that we would like the check and we would like to go. He said it was on the house so we left. Terrible experience, had to find somewhere else to eat at 10 o’clock at nite. Don’t...

Fine Dining At It's Worst. Firstly I must congratulate them on doing a beautiful job of renovating this restaurant. We were 2 couples that dined here last Friday night. We started off by ordering cocktails. The ladies ordered "Old Fashions". When they came to the table we couldn't figure out what they actually were but they were terrible. We told our waitress that the drinks were terrible and our waitress said that the Manager had made them himself. We realize that all restaurants are short staffed and we weren't upset. We also realize that the manager wasn't really a Bar Tender and he was just trying to help out. So we just asked that they replace them for something simple like Tito's with soda. Well, there wasn't a hint of Vodka in the drink. The ladies didn't want to complain again so they just left their drinks. We went on and ordered appetizers, salads and entrees. Our server asked us if we would like her to "bring everything out at the same time". She must have had her training in a diner. We asked that we would prefer her to bring out the courses individually. We joked among ourselves that maybe she should just throw all the food in a paper bag and we can eat it in our car. The entrée was mediocre at best. When our server asked us if we wanted to order desert we decided to pass and go elsewhere. When we asked for the check, we told the server that the Vodka and soda had no hint of Vodka in it and she saw that the drinks were unfinished but she must have been insulted and told us that there was "nothing but Vodka in them". We wondered perhaps if she had tasted them? We paid the check and on the way out I spoke with the Manager and told him how unprofessional our server was and about the drinks. He apologized and that was that. As I was about to leave, I told him that I was going to write a review of our experience there. Only then did he ask if he could do something for us to make things right. I told him that we weren't looking for freebies and the check was already paid. Too little too late. Needless to say we cannot recommend this restaurant nor will we be back. That certainly wasn't the reaction that...
