Brazilian Wax and Spa — Local services in Coral Springs

I usually go to the Brazilian Wax by Claudia in Boynton and thought that all of them would have the same standard. I hope my review will help this branch make some service improvements. I got my wax done by Priscilla. While she did an excellent job on the results of the wax, I wasn't thrilled with the experience itself. She walked in and didn’t start any small talk. Just straight to waxing. This was the most uncomfortable, painful wax I’ve ever gotten. First, there was no AC. Just a fan she kept turning on and off. And asking her to turn it on felt like I was hassling her. I was sweating the entire time and at one point I felt like I was going to faint (this had never happened to me). I’m seasoned at getting waxed for over 10 years. She then kept throwing the wax bottle all over the place and I can count three times where the nozzle landed on my skin. I'm not sure if they were short staffed but she rushed through the job and I walked away with a few bruises (I don’t bruise after waxing usually). She got a full body wax (full legs, Brazilian, full arms, underarms) done in 35 minutes - that's a record time. When I got up, I hadn’t realized that the wax strips she used were not placed in the garbage but instead on the same hygienic sheet I was laying on. At checkout the receptionist charged me a higher price than the promotion. I told her it was on the website and then she proceeded to agree with me, but it took her a while to figure out how to adjust the price. DO NOT WALK! RUN! The owner of this place Priscilla is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY unprofessional! I swear ! I’m always saying I don’t follow reviews, matter of fact I have never opted to write a review, because every individual’s experience is different and I hate to feel as tho I’m stifling a business owner, but the other poor reviews are on point and I should have taken them seriously. These people are never on time. One of the receptionist is a straight up liar. She had me waiting over 30 mins for my service after she changed my appointment time and wouldn’t take accountability for communicating the incorrect time they needed for me to come in. I’ve never seen a boss or owner shout or even argue with clients but this one will. Because after waiting 30 mins I decided to try to rebook my appointment. However after how I was spoken to I opted to completely cancel! Priscilla is not clean n never cleans up after the service. You are left with powder, wax strip residue n wax residue everywhere! I kept looking past it because she works super fast but in the end it’s not worth the sacrifice! Please keep searching because this place is not it! I would recommend Brazillian Waxing by Sisters who even though they are not the closest to me is top tier quality n professionalism all day every day!. Btw my experience is a lot worst that I was able to document here so trust me when I say save your time n your money...

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I have been waxing for over 12 years, same lady, but she’s moved and I decided to come here because it’s so close to home. Well, a couple months ago I got this woman that had no idea what she was doing as I received a (Brazilian) I got a bunch of ingrowns. I called the owner and she tried to fix them herself and has since let the woman go. She proceeded to tell me that she was now training to have all her staff do the Brazilian the same way. Well last month and this month I went to a different lady, and again now, I have a bunch of ingrowns. The tech proceeded to tell me a couple weeks ago that she is experienced and from Brazil and bla bla bla, meanwhile. She did my whole session by pulling the wax DOWNWARD, now, if you know anything about waxing, this is NOT the way to dewax, the wax should be pulled upward. Now I’m even worse than I was a month ago. I called the owner again to see if she would rectify and explain and no response from her to date. I will not ever go here again. I barely even have hair and I have never ever had an ingrown. So tell me you’re me “an expert” and you’re pulling the wax down instead up?!?! I’m mad! And I hope other women see this. Because it’s not okay. These are sensitive parts of our bodies. And I expect better than this. Goodbye. So much for the “training” you were going to...
