!!! RUINED OUR CHRISTMAS DAY !!! See attached photos for reference to my post

Lock Issue: On Thursday, check in day, the man who greeted us reported the battery on the door lock was low and he would report it to have it changed. It is a literal 30 second job, but out of laziness it never happened. So on Friday we heard some strange beeping from the door, not knowing what it was we left the house and locked it as instructed. Little did we know this beeping was the battery being to low to work the lock, so our stuff stayed in an unlocked house for days. On Christmas Sunday we officially noticed the lock was not working and reported it to the host @ 10-11am. They responded, said they would try to get it fixed, and even told us “We should feel safe, it’s a safe neighborhood, we could leave the house with our stuff in it unlocked.” Is that a joke? Seriously? After this they do not respond for the next 6-7 hours (after I’m sure they had a wonderful Christmas day with their families) meanwhile THEY RUINED OUR PLANNED FAMILY TRIP TO EPCOT, STUCK IN THEIR PROPERTY OUT OF SHEER LAZINESS. I contacted AirBNB for help during their period of no contact as we had Christmas plans, Airbnb could not do much as this was not considered a Major safety issue? I don’t know how. And the host REFUSED TO REFUND THE 1 DAY I REQUESTED and essentially told us they did nothing wrong, and to kick rocks. THIS IS MY BIGGEST ISSUE. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY & GET SOME BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. STOP TRYING TO NICKLE AND DIME YOUR CUSTOMERS.

There is a MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD walking into the property. 1ft away from where u step out of your car. They said this is not their problem and would do nothing about it. Extremely unsafe, made even more unsafe by the fact the porch light bulb needed to be changed & the street light out front was flickering on/off every 30 seconds the entire trip making it complete darkness at times. (see pic)

The doors in the upstairs bedrooms DO NOT CLOSE OR LOCK. When you close the door of the bathroom the bedroom door opens and vice versa. It is 100% not functional. And this is in every room upstairs.

The barstools in the kitchen are completely rusty and ruining the floor. (see pic)

The 3 Burner grill WE PAID FOR, was disgustingly dirty and essentially just a grease fire waiting to happen it was un-useable. (see pic)

The failed to collect garbage for 2+ days (see pic)

The beds and pillows are really not very comfortable.

There are NO towel hooks or hangers in any of the bathrooms.

Shower drains are extremely slow (see pic)

Pots & Pans provided are all garbage. TERRIBLE SCRATCHED TEFLON. BRING YOUR OWN!!!! For the health and safety of your families.

$150 Heating fee for a luke warm pool, which was literally cold after the weather got a bit cooler.

The good? The house had no bugs or bed bugs. It has a roof to sleep under. That’s about it.

All in all I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE WHOS READING THIS. I’d love to hear a response...

The photos reflect the comforts afforded by this home in the Veranda Palms develpoment. The pool had sun from late morning through sunsets behind the quiet wildlife reserve area that the home backs on. Smooth check-in process, well equiped kitchen, comfortable beds. Tons of good sized pool towels . Gameroom (garage) kept us happy. Excellent four burner BBQ with two propane tanks. Dining by the pool is a special way we found to end our parks days. The drive over to Disney properties takes 15-20 minute and from this area no big traffic jams. Grocery shopping options abound. Sam's Club (worth the 45$ membership for out of townsers like us) has suppiles for our ten day stay, food items like superb lamb chops, steaks, seafood all at very affordable pricing and excellent quality. Publix a hop away, two Walmarts just 4-5 minutes away too. New find for us was the Twisty Top ice cream shop (looks like a big ice cream cone) that has outstanding real ice cream, soft twist type cones were our favourites. The management team at VIPOrlando (great communication) were helpful, vigilant and with one minor issue (garburator) all was corrected stat. Space for all, the upstairs lounge area was the gaming post for our crew. TV's yes in every room, our only observation was that the channel selection was very limited (10-12 channels), but we brought our streaming Fire Sticks and Android boxes that gave us all we needed. Good internet speed with two choices 2G and 5G. Washing and drying was a breeze. The community building and immense pool rpovide services for those who want to work out (good equipnment and enough machines), the water park atmosphere is unique also (most develpoments do not have these within quick walk from homes). Secure area with security guard from evening to morning. Trash service company unique also where we did have some (nature reserve remember) critters busy at night, but the team doing a drive around, tidied it up one of those occasions. This development is also good for an evening stroll, morning brisk walk. House spacing is well done, not that on top of each other feel of other developments we have stayed in. Would we go back? Collectively we all agreed THIS was a home to come back to with absoultely no hesitation. We were three doctors ( cleanliness important) and found all was top notch . Nice decor touches throughout the home without being excessive. Very safe feeling with the automatic front door re-lock mechanism....

The condo was very clean and nice location was easy to find. However the booking process was awful, there are hidden fees and a security deposit they dont tell you upfront. The amount of paperwork both electronically and otherwise is overwhelming I received no less than 30 emails. I was required to sign and return photographs of my ID as well as my credit card multiple times, and then also had to call In and request them to stop emailing me because they were requesting emails that I had already returned multiple times. It is very on organized it is very confusing. I read on other reviews that there was a lot of paperwork involved but I did not realize the amount, so much so that we almost canceled and chose another place because we did not feel confident that we had a confirmation finalized for this condo. There is so much emailed to you that it is confusing as to which parts are for what and most correspondence are in Spanish. I’m not sure if all of the condos in The Villas at Seven Dwarfs are managed by VIP Orlando or not however we will not rent through VIP Orlando in the future. It was way too much trouble incredibly inconvenient overwhelming and confusing. Also their office is closed all weekend so if you need to get in touch with them you have to call the after hours number which incurs a charge. Also there are tons and tons of rules so many so they’re hard to follow regarding everything from the temperature on the thermostat and so forth they also have many things listed that they will charge you extra for. Including trash disposal and there’s no trash facility near some of the condos you have to actually put the trash in your vehicle and drive it away. It is not well furnished with stocked, we were staying for five days and had to purchase EVERYTHING such as toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels TRASH BAGS, everything had to be purchased by us! Why should be have to buy a box of 20 or 30 trashbags or 12 or 20 pack of detergent pods for 5 days ? I feel like when you rent a condo just like a hotel and many other condos we’ve rented as we travel alot, it should come with the basic supplies furnished, the fact that we had to buy our own toilet paper and trash bags is a little bit...
