This place has the best food i have tasted in colombiana food in a long time. I have lived in Coral Springs 25 years, by far the best. They changed owner i went in to give it a second chance, has a sous chef i believe people have to love want they do to make it amazing. The dish i had the most tender, soft and well seasoned meat, the rice was not over cooked or hard prefect, beans soft with plenty of sauce and wow amazing seasoning. the tostones where nice a crispy, and i noticed with clean oil. To top it off the chimichuri sauce, there spicy sauce and green sauce was to die for. With great sauce, the meal amazing. I had an outstanding day & night. Im not one to eat out, i love cooking hard day at work didnt have the energy to cook. I can promise you ill be going back there again. Also as a Sous Chef, i never really write this but its been 4 days since i cant stop thinking about the amazing food, and amazing service i had that day. They helped me out to care the food, yes it was take out that what mind blowing. Well i wanna say thank you for the amazing food, services, & good luck to your future. I will be stopping by to say amazing to the owner and...
Read moreI was excited to visit this because it was one of my recommendations. Unfortunately the excitement didn't match the experience. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa and asked to please replace the rice and beans with salad because I don't eat rice. I got the food after 30 minutes or more and they gave it to me with the rice and beans. I patiently removed the rice out of my plate not only did I never get the salad but the meat was ice cold and taste like nothing the pork had no taste or seasoning at all as well! I had to leave the food because nothing was tasteful and I never even got what I asked for. I ordered a side of plantains and it was pure oil 🤢 After talking to the waitress she gave me a coconut small desert to help get the nasty taste off my mouth and told me she would have the owner stop by my table to talk to me ... Never came. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend. Oh and they removed my untouched food off the bill but still charged me the oil filled plantains that I barely...
Read moreMy friends and I decided to try this place because it was recommended by one of them. It did not disappoint, as the food was very delicious! My dish was arroz de mariscos (rice with seafood), while my friends had the seafood casserole and pork chops. Each dish was quite good! The fried plantains were fried a bit too crispy for me, but the rice dish was enough to satisfy me; they serve a lot of food for the order.
I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a small, but nice Colombian place to eat. It is reasonably priced too. My only suggestion would be to ask the customer whether or not he/she would like ice in the water, because the temperature outside is so hot, that the water doesn't remain cold for very long without it (if you like cold water).
I will visit this restaurant again - this time, I might try another dish. They all look so good, it's hard to decide which...
