I purchased my bridesmaid dresses in June of 2020 and had them mailed directly to my girls as they all live in different towns. Mid September comes around and the girls send me pictures of the dresses only to find they are the complete wrong color. We ordered the color sea glass and the tags on the dresses state it is sea glass but the color is a pastel blue color. This color is completely different from the dresses we tried on in the store and when you look up sea glass under Morilee it's a light green color, NOT blue. The store was contacted and explained the situation of the color difference along with our dresses being 3-4 sizes too big. I explained that we would have to rip out the zipper and completely redo the dress to make it fit my girls. And yes they were the ones to measure us and place the order. Lena the store manager refused to do anything besides send me a color swatch to prove the color was correct. I even had her go look at a dress that was sea glass over the phone and verify it's not blue! Over a month goes by and still no color swatch in the mail. I called again and spoke with Lena. She stated she sent the sample and I should be looking in the mail. It's been over a month and I haven't seen the sample so I refused to back down that easy. She stated she didn't have anymore samples left in the store so she would have to order one which takes 1-2 weeks. Fine. Another month and a half goes by and still no color swatch. I call the shop but no one answers. I call Morilee directly and to see if they will back their dresses, but Morilee states they can exchange them or refund but it has to be through the bridal shop! Why was that so hard Lena!? The next step is to storm the store with all my dresses I guess since no one will answer my calls. This was even recommended to me by Morilee! In summary don't waste your time with this shop, it looks beautiful and full of promises but they don't back their products if something isn't right. Now 6 months before my wedding I'm back to step 1 on finding bridesmaid dresses at a different shop, which I will have to pay for since it's not fair for my girls to have to pay for...
Read moreThis was the worst experience of my whole wedding process. Lena was so unhelpful and unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend!
Starting off setting up the dress appointment to even try on dresses, I was told they had an array of long sleeve dresses. We arrived and she only had a handful of small sized long sleeve dresses. She never asked my size, or my price range that I was looking at.
I ordered appliqués to get custom sleeves put onto a dress that I did purchase from XOXO bridal and was told that if I ordered them that day they would be GUARANTEED to be in by October 31st. They were not in until almost a week later. There did not seem to be an understanding of sense of urgency from Lena. I finally called the designer and they called Lena and then all of a sudden there was a fire under her and the appliqués were all of a sudden switched from USPS to FedEx and were delivered the next day after the switch was made.
When I picked these appliqués up from the shop, Lena literally hid from me. She was in the shop but had another gal from the venue get them for me. She did not even have the courtesy to even apologize to my face for the delay or issues.
I was told when I purchased my dress that since my wedding was at the same venue that I would be able to bring my dress in a day or two before to have it steamed. I emailed Lena the week before to set this up. Since their storefront moved, she literally told me, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU BRINGING YOUR DRESS HERE. What kind of customer service tells someone that?
I would NEVER recommend having help from Lena no matter what bridal shop she is at. I have largely expressed to all my friends and family how unprofessional the whole process was. I have told all future brides that I know to avoid shopping with them.
(I just want to also point out that Bella Sala was wonderful and had no issues with the venue. Just Lena with the...
Read moreI had scheduled a bridal appt for my sisters wedding dress shopping. This was our first stop for the day and she was really excited. We had arrived and they immediately took us to the bridesmaids dresses. My sister let them know that she was actually looking for a wedding dress and that she was the bride. The staff asked her if she sure she wasn't the bridesmaid. My sister, who felt a little offended, along with the rest of the group walked back downstairs to the front desk. The other staff asked if we were sure that I scheduled a bridal fitting. I said yes. She then got a tone in her voice and said " Well it says right here you scheduled a bridesmaids dress fitting." The attitude and back and forth with her made our group feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable. We asked if we should leave and they said she could try on a few dresses. The lady who helped us was nicer and tried to clear the air but it was still very uncomfortable. They then let my sister know that her appt could only be an hour since i scheduled the bridesmaid dress fitting and not the bridal one.
We were relieved to get out of there as again, we felt unwelcome and very uncomfortable.
Later on that day, I received a text from The Bridal Shop apologizing for the incident and that there system had all the appts wrong for that day.
The situation could have been handled way differently and it was not a good start to what was supposed to be a fun girls day for my sister. This is not the first negative interaction I've had with this place.
I don't recommend and it was disappointing enough for me to feel the need to write this review. There are more polite companies with a larger variety of dresses in the area....
