Hurts makes donuts. You can walk in and get a glazed donut and it will be large, delicious, and will make you want another. Really though, unless you've been there every day for the last two months, you don't go to Hurts to get a glazed donut. When I say Huts makes donuts, I mean they make really big, really tasty, and really creative donuts. You can get an apple pie donut that has apple pie filling where the hole would normally be. You can get a pumpkin cheesecake donut with cheesecake topping instead of glaze. You can get a cookie monster donut, glazed in blue "fur." You can get a chocolate cake donut with white frosting and mini m&ms called the slim shady. I'm not making this up, I swear. They have a Homer donut, like on the Simpsons. They have cream filled, raspberry filled, and so many more options. It is conveniently located over 8 miles away so I don't have to just sign over my paycheck to them. The people working there recognize the difficulty of making choices when your eyes are open wide in order to take in the variety of choices available. Don't be afraid to take your time. They will guide you along the process, from deciding how many donuts you might take home, to knowing how many more you can choose before you match the number you gave earlier. Do you really only get to pick three more? Don't worry. Come back another day to try some of the other varieties. Trust me,...
Read moreHorrible service. We were only customers. I asked questions and he was very flippant. Could be his age. There was decent music playing but from the kitchen I could hear loud rap. I want to post a picture of the awful donut that was in our box. Like it was a reject. I told the young man I wanted two in a bag and four in a box if that was possible. We were picking out donuts how grandaughters dad, mom, and Grandpa. We were going to eat ours there. He didn't give us the opportunity to tell him what went in the bag for there and what went in the box. He just did his thing. The donut for her dad wasn't like to get one in the case. When I serve something I give the best I have. And then paying that much I would want them all to look nice. Then to top it off when paying I could not get a receipt. So my attitude about that. I am not giving you my number or email to sell and if you can't afford to give me a printed itemized receipt I won't be back. My granddaughter who is 7 said grandma these aren't worth the money. I would rather we saved our money and go to the movies. The donuts at Target cost $.69 , taste better. Nothing special about to these donuts. Just buy a can of frosting or...
