They're slacking on maintenance and upkeep outdoors. The streets leading to it are falling apart and the silver lilly is a serious HVAC art failure. The pond is covered with moss/slime and kind of disgusting. Coralville is terrible at allocating money for streets in aging neighborhoods, using money for growth in more eloquent neighborhoods instead. Plus the hours at the indoor pool are way too narrow for regular use and you can't swim laps at the outdoor pool. The grass looks nice. All that debt squandered and then the town falls apart for lack of maintenance due to financial mismanagement betting on a growth plan that's failed everywhere it's been implemented....
Read moreThey ignore the state leash law. They allow large dogs to run and ignore you if you report an incident. Kids on the west side of the pond should be supervised closely. However, that didn't help this child. The people with the aggressive German shepherd came back every day since it terrorized a little girl who was there to fly kites with her dad and little brother. Read moreQuiet and subdued. However, not much for scenery unless your wanting to watch cars park in the huge pavement lot in which you parked in, if you drove to this location. Or if perhaps, you're interested in watching patrol units pulling in and out of the Coralville Police Station which the park lays directly adjacent to. It was much more a park when visitors were allowed to bring some bread along so that your children could enter mingle with the friendly ducks. But, you can bring your book and enjoy the quiet at S.T....
