Lucky Box Sports Cards — Local services in Cornelius

In town for work. And into the card hobby so I of course looked for one and found Lucky Box. And it didn't disappoint! Very nice space they have. The opening area bar top is a awesome touch. Alot of card shops I go into I feel pressure to buy in order to be talked to, or if I don't spend enough they don't want to talk. Alot just sit on their phones while you look. Some places won't let you hold packs or boxes. Not here. Dave was working. And man I felt like it was my regular shop, I didn't feel pressured. Or not cared about. Dave answered my questions listened to my babbling about stuff. They gave an area you can sit and go thru cards they are selling. If you want to look at a box they grab it for you to look at. Not act like your about to steal it. This place was awesome, I probably spent an hour at least in there. Bought a few packs spent a little more than I planned because of the atmosphere Dave created. Just left this shop located in Cornelius, I ended up buying a hobby box which was the new 2024 football and a topps chrome hanger. Very satisfied with the customer service and the owner Chris was awesome. He had everything priced fair compared to what i was paying online. He was also very knowledgeable and helpful as i’m fairly new to the hobby. The store was clean and tons of seating to be able to hangout and look thru the 1000+ singles he had available. Ryan took the time to walk me through the basics of baseball card collecting and helped me understand what to look for when evaluating cards. He even helped me as I opened some packs in the store, showing me which cards were valuable and why. The pricing was very fair, and the atmosphere was welcoming and laid-back.
