UPDATE: Nov 2024 I originally left a 1* review because of what happened below. Since then I have been several times and the service has been exceptional. Also I have seem them deal with my initial issue I had by voicing the other shipping tags. I now want to give them a 5* review to make this current and acknowledge the change they made.
I ordered the wrong size bed frame (100% my fault) on Amazon. I had to borrow my friend's SUV to drop it off at the UPS store. My labels were processed to send back for a refund. Except-- The UPS store put on the return sticker and never removed the delivery stickers. They also never asked me to look or verify they were off. The very next day the bed frame was BACK!! I called the UPS store and their solution was for me to just bring it back!! I said NO WAY was I going to do that. It was their mistake and I needed help with what to do. They did nothing but blame me for not removing the initial delivery stickers and tell me to borrow a SUV again to take it back. It was such horrible customer service. Never said sorry only blamed me. They should have double checked before authorizing it to go on the UPS truck.
If American Airlines sends your bag to Raleigh and not Charlotte they don't expect you to go to Raleigh and get it. They make it right and deliver directly to your house! They don't blame the passenger!!

I recently paid them to package an item which I sold online. The item arrived damaged and upon filing a claim, UPS denied the claim, stating that the damage was due to the UPS Store's poor, inadequate packing job. This was the same sentiment expressed by the buyer as well.
Upon discussing this with the UPS Store's employees and franchise owner, they told me that I was totally out of luck. They refused to help, as I paid for the shipping fees on my UPS account, as opposed to theirs. I had all of the proper declared values and insurances, so it shouldn't matter at all. It was just an excuse. Essentially, I'm now out a few hundred dollars with no recourse.
I trusted this UPS Store franchise to safely package my items, but I shouldn't have. I suggest that you don't trust them either. They don't stand behind the work...

Throughout my professional career and residency in other states, I have NEVER experienced consistent exceptional customer service and communication at any other UPS store as I have with this locations team. Think, ā Chick-fil-Aā type of āserviceā but better because they never mess up your order. Not to mention, many team members have also been there a while! Jack, Joe, Lauren, Aaron, Carson and many others are always a pleasure to speak with. They are tentative knowledgeable and just genuinely happy and great people to converse with. They do get busy as any great business will but they seem to genuinely try their best to keep great service during those times. This location genuinely cares about their customers and it shows.
