Growers Direct Flowers — Local services in Costa Mesa

This is a wholesale flower shop but they sell flowers to anyone. If you were to peek in, it doesn’t look like they have much, mostly vases, orchids, and succulents, however, to the right, is a fridge filled with beautiful flowers and there are more that aren’t viewable from the outside. I would recommend calling in before you dropped by to make sure they’re opened or if they have the flowers you’re looking for.

The guy working there showed us the selection in the fridge and I was extremely impressed. They had beautiful lilies, hydrangeas, peonies, roses, tulips, lots of filler flowers/plants, and more. I knew the flower I wanted but didn’t know how to arrange it but the guy was able to help me pick some fillers and created a LARGE, beautiful bouquet. After he wrapped it up, I was kind of nervous that I would be hit with a hefty bill since I forgot to tell him my budget, but I was surprised that it was under $35 for that type of arrangement.

I’d like to share my first experience with Growers Direct. I'm not usually someone who leaves reviews, but I felt compelled to this time. I contacted them late on a Sunday morning, needing flowers delivered that same day. Not only did they accommodate my request, but the delivery itself turned out to be quite challenging. The delivery person had to wait for 45 minutes. Despite my telling him several times that it was okay to leave the flowers, he insisted on waiting, saying he didn’t think they would end up in the right hands otherwise. I even offered to compensate him for his time, but he declined.

The flowers were stunning, and the recipient’s reaction was priceless. The quality of their work alone is impressive enough to make me a repeat customer. I have to give a massive thank you to Grower's Direct employees, Eduardo (LA) and Aaron (Santa Ana). I live in LA and had a week to plan for a funeral service and reception in OC. Eduardo was able to seamlessly take my order and deliver it to the OC location for me to conveniently pick up. This is where I met Aaron -- a phenomenal person who delivered excellent customer service to me. He was so incredibly helpful and managed to stay 2 steps ahead of me with my needs.
