Dear Takumi Sushi,
I hope this email finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to dine at your establishment, and I wanted to share my feedback regarding my experience.
Firstly, I must commend you on the stunning interior design of your restaurant. The attention to detail and ambiance created a visually pleasing and inviting atmosphere. It truly made for an enjoyable dining environment.
However, I feel compelled to express my disappointment with the level of friendliness displayed by your staff. Throughout my visit, I couldn't help but notice an apparent lack of warmth and attentiveness from the service team. This made me feel uneasy during my wait, which ultimately impacted my overall experience.
As a patron, I believe that exceptional customer service is a vital aspect of a dining establishment. It enhances the overall impression and ensures that guests feel welcomed and valued. Encouraging your staff to be more friendly and attentive would greatly contribute to the positive dining experience your beautiful restaurant promises.
I sincerely hope that you take this feedback into consideration. By addressing the issue of friendliness among your staff, I believe you can elevate your restaurant to new heights and create an exceptional customer experience that matches the impressive ambiance.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing about any improvements you may implement...
Read moreUPDATE: After 2 years, I stopped in because I was in the area, needed to feed my gullet, and thought I'd let bygones be bygones and try again in all fairness and a natural inclination to support local businesses. Added stars because the sushi was delicious and fresh, they have an expanded menu, and they were great with accommodations. In two years, noticeable improvements. The only downside is that they sell their sushi one piece at a time. This can be a benefit, though, so you can try more types of fish if you're feeling adventurous. If you are hungry, something to consider. But overall, well done Takumi Sushi! I added photos of 1 piece of yellowtail, 1 piece of seared scallop, baked salmon roll without the sauces, but the spicy mayo with fake krab made it greasy... will take to the kiddo. We'll be back though.

I loved this place a few times until they killed it. I'll never go there again. 3/3 dining in and all three times (in a one month span), the fish did not appear fresh, and the wait staff was arrogant about it. I was kind and tipped them well in spite of sending back the past shelf life tuna, which they recognized. Still a bad attitude from servers who kept us waiting all three of the past visits. Just a bad experience all around. Won't be back. Oh, and my son is disabled with a walker. They were never welcoming and accommodating with this. They lost a...
Read more🐟 New Style Ankimo (Monkfish Liver) - I call this “foi gras of the sea”. It’s creamy texture works well with this new-style presentation with truffle oil. So good! 🍣 Nigiri Sushi: Sake (Salmon), Madai (Japanese Snapper), Tako ((Octopus), Ame Ebi (Sweet Shrimp), Unagi (Fresh Water Eel), Hotate (Bay Scallops), Ikura (Salmon Eggs), and Uni (Sea Urchin) - I like that you can order just one piece and make your own sushi platter. Everything was so fresh! The uni was exceptional! 🦀 Black Spider Roll - I love spider rolls! This was one of the biggest I’ve had! 🍣 Futo Maki Ver. 2 - So beautiful to look at, like stained glass. It’s packed with ingredients. Reminds me more of kimbap than sushi but delicious! 🐟 Salmon Blue Crab - This was my hubby’s favorite. Instead of rice, it’s rolled around a huge lump of blue crab meat. Yummers! 🦀 Soft Shell Crab - I couldn’t have enough of the soft shell crab so I got one to enjoy by itself! 🐙 Tako Wasabi - First time having raw octopus and it was delicious. A little chewy but not as chewy as squid. The fresh wasabi was a nice touch and pairs perfectly...
