When it comes to retailers we tend to avoid face to face interactions, it is a lot easier to buy online and get home deliveries or to use curbside pick-up. However after today's in-store experience with Alondra we can clearly identify that high quality customer service interactions hold a significant value that needs to be embraced. Alondra was empathetic, understanding, professional and warm; she went above and beyond to excel expectations. Here is the story: Our loved aunt passed away recently and there was a specific type of clothing needed for her burial gown. After some research we were pleased to find that Lululemon carries the specific style and material needed so we went ahead and placed an online pick up order from the Cerritos Mall location. After realizing the slip my uncle went to Lululemon South Coast Plaza which is our closest location wanting to exchange the piece and you know...ready for some retail push back. Well, not only there wasn't any push back, but Alondra took the time to help my uncle find the right color and size needed to make sure my aunt's gown is as close to perfect as we vision. She shared her condolences and made the whole interaction smooth and effortless. We are highly grateful, Alondra is a great representation of your brand, your mission and character. We are definitely looking forward to our next store...

I brought the packing slip to this store but it turned out that it was for the same order but different item I purchased. The manager who helped me tell me that she only could get a store credit based on the CURRENT DISCOUNTED price, not the original that i paid. I asked her to trace the order info based on the order number in the packaging slip. She said she can not, the system doesnt allow her to (What a poor system they have). I checked my Lululemon account where i signed in and purchased these items, for some reason, this specific order didnt show in order history and i couldn't find email confirmation⦠The manager who helped me she didnt know where to find the order history in my online account. At the end, i had to take the store credit although it was within a month of return and eligible for full refund. The thing that made me most upset is the overall attitude throughout the process. She kept saying that āYou will buy anyway, the store credit is the same as the refund?!!!ā. I am asian, and when i was not able to find the order confirmation email, she told me type āorderā in the search window and even spell it out for meā¦ā¦ā¦ Whatās Lululemonās hiring standard to pick the manager? I went in to make my first lululemon purchase Friday afternoon because I was tired of workout leggings/pants that constantly need pulled up and just didnāt fit quite right.
I was afraid that the staff might be rude, especially because high end stores tend to have rude employees.
I was happily surprised by the level of customer service from all 4 associates I encountered. A lady near the leggings explained to me what activities the different styles of pants and their fabrics were designed for, and recommended a style based on my workouts.
The lady working in the dressing rooms section was really polite.
As I went back to look at more styles, another employee offered assistance and grabbed me a pair of leggings in my size from back stock. While I was waiting the original employee I spoke with touched base again.
The cashier also had superb customer service skills.
