Where do I start??? I had the most stressful and poorest and disrespecting customer services experience of my life. I purchased furniture for my new office supposed to be starting on Jan. I call on the day I was supposed to go pick up my order(2 weeks after order date) and their warehouse person informs me they don’t have my chair. Call Sednya at OC store she takes no responsibility and pass me to LA office. Manager (James)is on vacation and associate tells me he can’t give me any updates. When I express my frustration he bluntly say “I’m not the one who messed up your order, call OC store”!!!!! . Everyday I have to chase Sednya and get the same response “that chair is not in stock and LA manager should have informed you.... I cannot get a hold of him.. you should call him yourself...” we finally came to a conclusion that I pick another chair... I asked them to deliver it for me now thinking let’s give them a chance to redeem themselves. I desperately explained I need to have my furniture to start serving my clients on Jan 2nd. After days and days waiting for Sednya to get back to me with an update on delivery date she finally claims she hadn’t been able to contact dispatchers or the date they can deliver doesn’t fit my timeline... are you kidding me? It takes 5 days to get a hold of dispatcher? And there is no extra step you guys are willing to take to satisfy your customer when you are the one screwing up?... and here is the cherry on top,,, when I finally rehire moving guys and get a uhaul and personally go there, they bring me a wrong chair and I have to wait 35 minutes for them to contact manager in LA (James) and he finds and send the correct item number to them. I don’t usually loose my temper easily but I could see myself screaming and yelling if I talked to him so my husband calls him afterwards and share our frustration in a very reasonable rational way to him. He apologized and said after this all is behind us we will make it up to your wife. I had to delay opening my office and serving my clients. It was a financial loss as well as embarrassment towards my clients. My husband decided to give them another chance and purchase a chair from them and what was their offer to make up for all that stress and devastation? $100 off on a $500 chair..... their customer service...

Read moreI've purchased a TV stand, a coffee table, and two couches from Modani: one in 2015 and another in 2023, spending over $10K in total. I ordered the same couch model and received it on August 8th, 2023. I kept it in its original wrapping for a few weeks until I removed the previous couch I'd bought from them. Upon using the new couch for the first time last weekend, I noticed a very loud and unusual sound, suggesting it might be broken or defective.
I contacted Modani's customer service and was assisted by Chris, who was very friendly and attentive. He requested a video of the problem and offered either a discount or a replacement for the problematic section. I opted for the replacement, and he promptly arranged its delivery. The service was EXCELLENT, with the replacement scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
THEN comes the problem.. I notice a small spot on the leather of the section that's not being replaced where it has been touched up and PAINTED. A NEW couch! I contacted them again and Chris is no longer with them (A week later). Spoke to a new representative who mentioned that touch ups happen but very very rarely. They WILL NOT replace it because I was supposed to let them know within 7 days.
Some may think that perhaps I may have done it myself... No no no.. I purchased the 5 coverage in case I did it myself. Had I done it myself I would have just filed a claim and gotten it taken care of. This was sent to me as a NEW couch which is why I write this review.
