O'Kane's Kitchen — Local services in Cottleville

On occasion I'm tasked with ordering food for company meetings. Our group is small with a group of around 10. In the past, our orders were from larger chain restaurants. I like to patronize the smaller, family owned businesses in the area. After some searching, I discovered this hidden gem, Okane's. Holy cow... Not only did I place a same day order, I got the most delicious meal! On a whim I ordered the Chicken Spiedini, a salad and a desert tray with the most amazing pumpkin bars. Okane's was nice enough to heat up the chicken (no oven on site) and assist me in carrying the items to my car. Everyone made comments about the amazing taste of all the food! I’ve been a Home Chef/ Hello Fresher for a few years until I stumbled on this gem. The price is only a little bit higher due to the tip but I am saving so much time and dishes and this tastes so much better! I was home and had dinner heated in the oven within 15 minutes. This is a life saver!!! Home cooked meals that I so badly want to present my family every night instead of the rushed frozen pizza.

My husband and I stopped in today to grab a couple dinners for the weekend. We are always busy and never plan time for cooking. This is a great way to still have home cooked meals without the time it takes to prep and mess to clean up after. The price is good, no more than I would pay to eat at a restaurant or grocery shop. We had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans with gooey butter cake for dessert. Everything. Was. Delicious. I can’t say enough about the gooey butter cake, best I’ve had maybe ever.
