I recently had the pleasure of working with Carrie at Jonathan Jewelers, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make my jewelry shopping experience exceptional.

If you are like me, you sometimes dread going into jewelry shops. I always worry about being taken for a ride, having people be snobby, or getting a lot of pressure to buy. Jonathan‘s Jewelry is the opposite. The shop is large and beautiful. We came in for some jewelry repairs — sizing 2 rings, replacing some missing small stones, etc. They could not have been more kind, more knowledgeable, or more helpful. While they were logging in the jobs (which I appreciated as some jewelers just give you a ticket like you get at the dry cleaners), I had time to look around. No high pressure sales whatsoever. They have SUCH beautiful, unique pieces and the ones I asked about seemed to be priced very competitively. Michelle told us the buyer there specializes in finding closeouts and passes the savings along to their customers. Not your typical “everything Diamond“ shop either: Many really unique, tasteful pieces with gorgeous, colored stones ( and, of course, a huge selection of diamonds). The staff we worked with — Marc and also Michelle— were so patient and there was absolutely zero pressure, which was refreshing. It seems counterintuitive, but because they didn’t pressure us to buy anything, I can’t wait to go back and buy something! Lol. The repair work they did was top notch and well-priced. My wedding ring broke and I really was afraid it could not be repaired. It had some very intricate carved gold work in the middle that had broken into 2 pieces. I discovered Jonathan‘s Jewelry practically in my backyard In Cottonwood Heights and never knew they were there before. I met with Josh who is a very charming and talented Goldsmith from England. He was able to very quickly make the delicate repairs and bring back the luster of my wedding ring as though it were brand new. He made one unnoticeable structural change that will prevent it from breaking in the future. My husband and I are both delighted with the result. And remember, the break was so bad, I assumed it could not be repaired and I would have to buy a new one. The cost of the repair was extremely reasonable. One might even say negligible compared to the cost of replacement. Josh is also sizing a couple of other rings for me and was happy to do some research on an old family ring from the late 1800s about which little is known. He has determined so so far from the hallmarks that it is from Scotland. He is doing further research so that I might be able to figure out who in the family owned it.
