I had the wonderful privilege of visiting this lovely store on “Love your Local Yarn Store” Day! The selection of yarns and patterns, particularly local dyers and designers, was super! The choices were beautiful and varied; something to suit everyone’s preference. The most amazing part of my visit to this lovely gem of a lys though, was the wonderful service from the owner, the staff and even the other customers in the store. She greeted us upon entering the shop and then checked in after we had a few minutes to explore. She was able to answer some questions about where the yarns were from or dyed. Although I am a knitter, I have never knit socks before and wanted to knit a pair as a souvenir of my trip. There is a solid selection of yarns, from locally hand dyed yarns in various fibers (including cotton/linen!), to commercial yarns at varying price points. I spent about 15 minutes looking around while the owner/person working chatted with someone else sitting at the front table.
