+JMJ Thursday 1 September 2022 So very excited to be present at this newly established family owned General merchandise store. Their GRAND OPENING was today 1st of September and during my visit around 1030 a.m. was pleasantly surprised that quite a number of people were already present walking around the store getting acquainted with the merchandise. The owners and their working supporters (staff) were present meeting and greeting everyone. Very friendly atmosphere. Love the variety of household goods, personal body care products, camping and other outdoor equipment and much much more! There is even a section with LOTS of comfy looking house slippers. They also have an amazing selection of toys and games. My purchase was a much needed bathroom floor mat. Durable material and very reasonably priced. From what I heard from one of the associates, there will be a regular rotation of different merchandise. The store is packed but everything is neatly arranged allowing for ease walking around other customers. I heartily support family owed businesses and pray that they will be very successful. The store it’s self is very cute and has a lot of nice merchandise to choose from and priced very nicely. However, I’m not sure if it was the owner or an employee but an older man immediately began to hover over my sister and I the moment we walked in yesterday afternoon for the first time, It honestly made us feel uncomfortable and like he was only keeping an EXTREMELY close eye on us. I felt as if I couldn’t even look at something or walk to a different section without him coming over to check what we were touching.. it was to the point where it was kind of rude. Customer service for me as a business owner is very big. With that being said I can see security being big as well especially in a retail setting but, we were choosing things out and purchased a couple things regardless of his demeanor so I’m not sure what the exact issue was.
