I was in from out of town to help my Dad with a problem he was having with his tablet. He is local, and we went to this store because it's where he purchased his cell phone. There were 3 employees in the store and no other customers. Once the woman who greeted us realized we were there for some technical help and not to purchase anything (this time), she couldn't have been less interested in helping us if she tried. They stood around talking to each other and she seemed bothered we were even there. At one point, and in a very condescending tone, she actually said, "We're trained to sell devices, not to provide tech support." I wonder if she's ever heard of getting tech support on the phone for a customer? O wait, that's right, she didn't have time. She had an important conversation to get back to with her fellow employees. Bless her heart, maybe she was having a bad day. But you would think, especially in times like this, that people would be more civil toward one-another. I'll be contacting Verizon to let them know the quality of service this...
Read moreMy Mom and I went there a few days ago to upgrade her old phone to a newer one I was giving her. Fletch is the gentleman who helped us and he could NOT have been nicer, kinder or more patient! He was fantastic!! He handled everything with ease, spoke to both of us (sometimes people don’t speak to my Mom since she’s older and talk past her to me, but he never did that), and was as pleasant as could be. He deftly handled the data transfer and understood the importance of my Mom being able to access the things she needed (text, phone, email, photos). He patiently went over how to use the new phone, made sure everything transferred and was working with no issues and not once ever seemed annoyed or frustrated by the slow pace of it all. Nope! He was easy-going and treated her like he had all the time in the world! It was really nice because it’s takes older people more time to do this kind of thing and it could not have gone better. Read moreIf i could give less than one star I would. This was the most incompetent and unprofessional service I've ever receivied at a phone store.
I asked them to transfer all the data and contacts from an old phone to a new one and then erase the old phone. Not only did they NOT transfer any of my contacts to the new phone (they actually didn't transfer anything but my photos) but the ONLY thing that they erased from my old phone was the contacts.
If that wasn't enough, they had removed a power adaptor plug in from the phone we brought in. When we asked for it back they said they didn't have it and that they never removed anything from the phone. On top of it, they were rude about it and as we were walking out the door they literally yelled at us from across the room, "your welcome, your transfer was free!"
What transfer? The one they completely screwed up?
I would caution anyone from patronizing this location. Literally anywhere else...
