Be Aware of good reviews, as this disensary PAYS patients to leave positive reviews ! The behavior of the so called guard and office staff today has left me very upset, and suffering in pain until I can get to a decent dispensary. This one has again refused to make any accommodation to allow a single mother in a wheelchair to have access to medication. I have shopped here out of necessity since they opened. I will be driving out of town for ALL of my family's medication needs from now on. Most of the staff (the budtenders) are amazing personable people that go out of their way to make their patients comfortable, and I will miss you guys and gals; you know who you are. The rest of the staff, however, make it quite clear they are focused on profit, not patients. While some of the guards are quite friendly, and make the shopping experience more pleasant and secure, this particularly opinionated guard has a power Trip and likes to bully people when bored. That was my experience today. After years of being a loyal customer and shopping there multiple times each week, now that I'm a single mother raising 6 kids, I have to make adjustments. One of those is not having a partner to watch my one year old while I shop for medicine. This dispensary is the ONLY one that has ever told me I had to get a babysitter to be allowed to buy medicine, as my infant is not allowed inside. I have tried repeatedly to get them to help me access my medication despite my disability, but they claimed it was company policy. However, the Prescott store has made it clear that policy is exclusively up to Cottonwood management, and is not the policy in Prescott, where of course they want to make sure I can get my medicine as needed. So I complied with their request and brought my 13 year old (who is old enough to legally babysit anywhere) to help with my wheelchair (which I can't do alone) and watch the baby while I was inside. They got drinks while I wheeled myself up the ramp and went in, then walked around the parking lot to stay where the security cameras could see them until I came out, as instructed. I was inside maybe 5 minutes when the "guard" comes into the establishment and berates me about bringing children to the building. They were not in the building and I pointed out that office staff had said that they had to wait outside. Then he says I can't have them there at all and I need to leave. Even my budtender was in shock. No one deserves to be treated this poorly just trying to...
Read moreI am single mother in remission(due to rick Simpson oil) from stage 4 bone cancer ,this place has twice made it almost impossible to get my medicine ,they would not allow me in with my 1 year old,so i was unable to get my medicine ,what could i do?leave her in the car? Then a second time when i needed assistance after surgery they would not allow someone to help who wasn't a card holder, would not even allow them in to the lobby ,did not offer help to supplement themselves, got wierd with me when my friend i questioned them,i felt like a was a criminal ,im a 100lb disabled 31 year old single mother and nothing to get worked up about, yet the security guard got very edgy very fast!it is not illegal if you are disabled to have an assistant who is a non card holder help you my fault i didnt notice the sign i will say but ,ive done it many times....there are avenues to go around i guess delivery services but why??ive been to some really outstanding dispensaries who treated it and me like i should be. they need to be more accommodating to patients who really need the medicine and stop putting a cloud of shade over the she industry by treating it like a bar THIS IS NOT A BAR PEOPLE,i should never feel or be shamed as a mother/cancer survivor to go get my medicine kid in tow no problem, this is not law many dispensaries not only allow kids but have playing areas for them as well(they do not have to be a card holder) i left this place in tears,a dispensary!!thats like leaving an ice cream store trying and i pointed this all out to the manager Ashley i believe(blond hair with blue tips, and she failed to even apologize in fact she is why i left in tears )😢....if you have another option take it! Also what is this no smelling BS? wafting...lol, In all my days of being a patient, that is most definitely a first! And not to mention yavapai herbal services is a corporate franchise who have dispensaries all over...
Read moreBeen coming here since 2021. It’s switched owners twice now. Some of the staff, like Breanna, have stayed and I really appreciate their efforts to keep the service the same level we have always been given. I do not like the new decor. It feels like you’re walking into an institution or jail. I do not enjoy being crammed into a box full of people with nowhere to sit and uncomfortable atmosphere and conditions. I really like the fact that I can place an online order and come to the front window and pick it up, so that I don’t have to be crammed into what feels like a jail cell now with zero ventilation. It’s hot and smelly when so many people are crammed into a box the size of a small living room. Today I came in dreading having to go into this prison feeling place that used to be a haven because the online ordering was shut off… but!!! Breanna greeted me and knew exactly what I wanted… no joke I just walk in and she’s like hey Zo! You want your usual…? And I’m extra ecstatic! Holy moly what kind of weird universe did I just wake up to where someone knows my name and what I get and is ready to jump and grab it for me and get me out cause they know my anxiety level and respect me?!?!?!? Dang Breanna! Thank you for the LOVE & RESPECT in a world that seems to be falling into a selfish, uncaring, money motivated grossness where the consumer doesn’t matter anymore… she is literally the reason I keep coming back. This level of love from the people serving our community in this building is what we all should be. I wish I had Breanna’s memory… and I wish all business owners would adopt the business model Breanna is leveling the competition with. 20 million stars...
