Since others have come forward about negative experiences here I felt I can finally say my experience too. I came here once months and months ago, I brought in my binder for them to look at. I said if they saw anything they’d like to maybe buy to let me know and ask me, as some things I have a level of attachment too and don’t want to sell. They at first seemed to understand and had a look, picked out some cards, and looked up market without showing me what cards they picked at first. I noticed one was a Rayquaza. Nothing wild, but I had sentimental attachment to that card as it was a gift from my mother who is deceased. I spoke up, was ignored and shown what the trade or cash value was. I said something a second time now, the guy gave me a look and reinstated the value. There was no care, what mattered was they could sell these and they could sell it. I took a minute to gather my thoughts and he said “so cash or trade?” In a harsher tone. I caved, I felt pressured, and being someone with depression and anxiety it can be hard for me to handle. That card is gone. While I was there only one time it was enough for me to see what sort of place it was. What sort of people these are. I have seen the negative reviews and believe that everything I’ve read has played out as it lines up with that type of person. I’ve had some friends go there who have spoken negatively too. Maybe you have to rub shoulders with these people and have that money money money mindset to have the positives. Being a actual fan of Pokémon doesn’t...
Read moreThis place used to be my favorite card place around, but overtime, this wonderland of cards twisted into a cesspit. Encourages scalpers, many prices are over market, claims they won’t take cards less than mint yet has sold played cards to myself and friends. Then when said cards come back around to trade up for something someone wants more, they get anal. Act like they never sold it there to you, never would, and how dare you even consider bringing it in or even think for a second they’d take it! Which even if they do take it, as much as they self proclaim they give the best around town..they don’t. I’ve had other card shops do better, cash and credit. They preach they are in this for the real fans, but not even they themselves know a lot about the franchise of Pokémon. Not unless it’s a high end card everyone is hyping up to flip. It’s become increasingly obvious. A tragic downfall. If you live out of CB, the drive here ain’t worth it. If you live in Omaha or closer to Omaha, just look up card shops around there, I promise you, you’ll find incredible businesses that really deserve your support and are run by even better people who love Pokémon and want people to be able to enjoy this hobby, rich or not, with a much larger selection of vintage and modern.
EDIT. you can report my review and have it hidden all you want, just shows you guys can't handle it. Instead of taking in consideration what negative people are saying and maybe reflecting on that. You want to hide it, then have people review bomb you with 5...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing people The 3 brothers that own this place and run it are fantastic. They always go way out of their way to help everybody that comes in the store. They're never rude. They're always very chipper about things I mean, even when they're not, they're still trying to be the best that they can be, I mean, they do a great job at what they do and I am always pleased when I walk into that store and then back out of it. I sometimes I don't even want to leave. But it's a very, very amazing place if you are into Pokémon. And I definitely recommend that you check it out. Because yeah, they got anything that you would want. Honestly, even though it's such a small store, they have anything you would want if it in pre packaged items. They also have a very good selection of carbs for The amount that they have, it's, it's amazing. They hold a contest. They do live stream. I mean, it doesn't get much better I mean, I would choose them over anyone else. Cafe monster corner collectibles. All those places have nothing on them like they can't even hold up to them. If you go there, I highly...
