They are an awesome crew! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I brought in my custom built pc (only 2 months old) that kept blue screening on me. I couldn't figure it out and neither could my friend who helped my build it. I brought it to CompuGig and let them look at it for a week to run various tests. Fortunately (and Unfortunately) all the tests passed and the computer never crashed or blue screened while they had it. They said it could be something that I have connected to it possibly. They said they would keep the ticker open and if it happens again, they would look at it and not charge me twice (thank you!!)...4 hours after bringing it home, it blue screened. I brought it back to them and this time it did crash in the possession and because of that, they were able to determine what part was causing the problem. As it was under warranty, I was able to get it replaced and since then, it has been smooth sailing. I don't really leave reviews but I felt I needed to for this. I spend $1,900 on a computer that I thought was cursed and was thinking about parting it out, but these guess were able to save me from that aggravation. On top of that, they are also very personable and friendly...that you guys, I appreciate it...
Read moreWhen my MacBook Air started having problems, Compugig was highly recommended to me so I took it there. I explained clearly from the beginning that I was pretty sure there was a problem with my hard drive due to storage issues with the Macintosh updated apple kept doing. I dropped it off on a Monday morning and they said I’d get a call in 2 days knowing what’s wrong. Well two days passed and I didn’t hear anything. So on Thursday I called, only to find out that it was in fact the hard drive that needed replaced however they don’t work on macs. So I asked, “why did you have me pay the diagnostic fee if you don’t work on macs?” And it was responded with, “we can work on them if it’s hardware, but not the hard drive. We can’t even take an image of it.” I’m really disappointed that this was never explained from the beginning especially when I clearly stated and wrote on the form when I dropped it off that I was pretty sure it was a hard drive issue. So now I’m out $70 for a computer they couldn’t even fix because they don’t work on macs but was never honest about it from the beginning. The overall was staff was kind, I only wish there had been more honesty from...
Read moreI am a commercial real estate appraiser and use my computer every day for work. I have two laptop units that are vital to my livelihood. On a Monday morning I sat at my computer and found it was under attack via a virus. My wife got on hers shortly after and it was showing the same message. I contacted CompuGig and was going to have them login and check them out. They said they were afraid of logging on due to a possible threat to their network. They said bring them in immediately so I dropped them off at 9:30 that morning. They know how vital these computers are to my business and they were both repaired the same day which is almost unheard of in this industry. The price was more than fair and the service was way beyond my...
