I needed a battery tender for my Harley -Davidson motorcycle. I called every Harley dealer from Folsom to Medford. If they had it they wouldn’t ship it. I didn’t know about the towing/trailering bypass so the bikes lights were flashing their ‘get away from me’ warning for nine hours. Hence the need for the tender. I went to another auto parts store and they were of no help. I finally called Auto Zone in Crescemt City and explained my situation. I spoke with Brad. He was like a breath of clean fresh air! The people at all the Harley dealers had the tone of voice that let me know they really didn’t want to help me. And they didn’t. I was actually trying to get off the phone saying “it’s okay, I’ll figure something out’. Brad stopped me and said he really thought he could help me. I ended up sending a picture of the tender connector that is on my bike and Brad was right! He could help me! He turned a very frustrating day into a holiday for me. Store was clean, there were several staff available to help. I needed to make a return, that went smoothly. Having a disability, I've always appreciated the helpfulness of the staff at Autozone until today. I found the manager arguing with me as well as the young man helping me. She was grumpy and unprofessional, she even took the time to tell the girl who offered to carry my box to the counter someone was already helping me. Good on that girl for noticing I was struggling with the box and my cane. Having been a store manager, there's something to be said about timing, I didn't see a need for her interjection and it wasn't helpful. Read moreLive in a trailer and use battery power often have had battery taken in to be charged by two separate people who were both accused of stealing and we were told to pay for the items that were supposedly stolen.when asked why were the authorities not called the response was that the police were useless because they wouldn't do anything about it. This happened on two separate occasions involving two separate people but the same battery and same battery owner who refuses to pay for the stolen items without the proof that they were stolen. Has anyone besides myself had an experience like this one and how did you deal with it.
