I don't know how to describe the store except that it takes you back to a time when store owners cared about the customer and their needs. you walk in and there is a familiar smell that takes me back to the little stores we shopped at when I was little. this store has absolutely everything and anything you can think of if it's not there then you don't need it the workers are kind they greet you as soon as you walk in when I was leaving they were sweeping the parking lot in front of the store. I bought a rototiller used off of the Facebook marketplace needed a part so I thought I'd go over and see if they had it by chance and there was a gentleman that work there in the small motors department he came out and took a bolt and a nut it fixed it for two bucks that was all that it cost me. I'm really happy that there are stores like this still around because the big stores just don't they don't cut it when it comes to customer service. Want to give a special shout-out to Connie and Kathy and Pam there's many more but I can't remember the names I absolutely love the store I recommended that the next time you need something please go here I'm sure you'll find it and you'll end up making friends when you leave and you...
Read moreWent to get an almost-universal MTD part for a pull start in my TroyBilt weed eater. $5 part online, but I wanted it today. After waiting about 15 minutes (#3 in line) I was told rather abruptly by the man at the counter that they don't sell that part, and if I wanted the weed eater repaired there, they'd have to replace the whole engine. For a pullstart pawl on the fly wheel. That's sad. Pretty sure what they actually want me to do is just buy a Stihl from them. Customer service like that will push me back to the big box stores.
Additionally, because they don't have a marked spot to wait for parts assistance, a queue if you will, the gentleman in front of me was line jumped by someone else who just walked right up to the counter. When the gentleman in front of me pointed this out to the man behind the counter, he continued helping the one who jumped the line. Awesome work.
Edit:. It was actually a $7 part. Got it next day from Amazon. Took 10 minutes to fix and...
Read moreI was troubleshooting the reason my AC was not kicking on and discovered I needed a fuse. I was searching the area, went to home Depot where the kid tried to help me but was not knowledgeable about the part and we could not find the exact part that I needed just similar. I decided to come over to crescent springs hardware which Will always be my first stop going forward. When I first walked in the cashier was extremely helpful and asked what I needed. I showed her the part and she was able to find my replacement right away. The fuse had different numbers and letters but she explained that the one I was searching for is a 25 volt and the beginning letters did not matter because it would work, along with a few other tidbits that were helpful. I was so tickled by her knowledge because she knew right away and explained it to me and put my mind at ease. I replaced the fuses and my AC work s great again. I'm so thankful to not have to call and...
