The employees are often nice but that’s about it. I was excited to have a pharmacy close to home but I have been deeply disappointed at the incompetence and inconsistency. I went there for both COVID-19 vaccines and they were ship shape, getting people taken care of efficiently, but when I have a regular prescription? No one knows what’s going on. I take injectable meds that require a needle to get the meds into the syringe and a separate needle to inject, each a different size, and at least three times I’ve been only given one kind of needle when picking up my prescription. Today was the latest issue, where they told me for 10 minutes that I didn’t have a prescription for one kind of needle, only to finally figure out what the underlying issue was, which shows exactly how inefficient they are at using a system they’re trained for. This is, of course, two days after I called ahead to make sure each item had been filled and was told they all were ready for pickup. I’m now going to go out of my way to find a pharmacy location that’s worth it, as this location is an absolute mess. Thank you for the hassle and I hope the team takes seriously the massive inconveniences that their incompetence causes, especially when people’s health and medicine...
Read moreI have used Walgreens in Ohio all my life. I am 71 years old. This is the WORST Walgreens I have ever used. The drive-thru is ALWAYS full. There is ALWAYS a line at the pharmacy to pick up your order. Today, it was 5 minutes before someone even came to the counter to ask if they could help me. There is definitely not enough help at the pharmacy. The new way Walgreens is handling RX's, from another location, is not efficient. And if they are filling medications from another location, why are their pharmacists on site so busy? I attribute this bad service issue to bad management! I see employees staring at their computer screens for lengthy periods of time. What exactly is the issue here??? If the location was not convenient, I would definitely switch locations. Other patrons, in line, tell me the Erlanger branch is much better. I will have to investigate that location. This management...
Read moreI rarely post reviews, if ever, but I felt inclined after my last few experiences at this Walgreens location. I feel someone in upper management needs to be notified and holding their workers accountable to correct these issues in order to deliver a good customer experience.
A few key improvement opportunities: Photo Center Organization. Every time I go to pick up my wife’s pictures it takes 10-15min for them to find them due to envelopes/packages scattered, etc Readiness to serve … if you see 6+ customers waiting in line proactively hop onto another register to help. If/when an associate comes to assist be deliberate/quick in getting folks out the door. General Customer Service … I don’t need to be told every time when to put in my card and when to take it out in a condescending tone.
Do better and...
