My experience with Anytime Fitness:
First off, it's a pretty well equipped gym. It has some of the weight lifty thingies, some of the pulley thingies, and some of the running thingies.
The music never seems to be working, and the owner blames it on the internet connection, but I think he just likes to eavesdrop on our conversations.
The water from the drinking fountain is wet. Almost a little too wet.
It's kind of hard to lose weight when the people who work out here are always bringing me junk food.
Some of the women here are very aggressive, and can sometimes make the place feel a little unsafe. They're always coming up and distracting you which makes it difficult to work out. Then they do provocative exercises which my grandmother would describe as "thirsty thrusts", all while maintaining direct eye contact. They need Jesus.
The owner, Zack with a "ch", is a pretty cool dude (for the most part). Ask him about his killer classic Matchbox and Hot Wheels car collection.
If you're still reading this, I'm sorry you have nothing better to do with your time, but if you're looking for a friendly, warm, welcoming place to work out, there's none better. To be honest, the place has dodgeball vibes. Wouldn't surprise me if we formed a team. We probably couldn't beat the Purple Cobras, but maybe that team of guys who just dance around.
Thanks for coming to...
Read moreAnytime Fitness in Crestwood, Missouri, is an outstanding gym that consistently impresses with its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities. The owner and staff are dedicated to keeping the environment spotless, making it a comfortable place to work out. I workout around lunch and or around 7:30pm and have seen the trash being run and vacuuming at both times. The gym has a great selection of equipment, including 2 squat racks and a smith machine. There is also a group fitness room for tabata/HIIT and rowing machines. There showers allow me to get cleaned up and head back to work. There is definitely a sense of community here in that many members pitch in to keep things clean when they see machines not being wiped down. Parking is abundant since the gym shares a parking lot with a shopping plaza. They also offer weekly drop in rates for guests so you can bring all of your family/friends that visit throughout the year. Overall, this gym is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a welcoming and hygienic fitness space with minimal crowds. The owner is very personable and truly cares about the space he creates and his member's...
Read moreI used this gym for about 5 months before covid hit and enjoyed it while doing so. As covid began to spread and became uneasy about attending the gym but I liked the gym so I decided not to cancel my membership right about. I continue to pay a little longer but finally June comes around and I decided I won't feel comfortable and decide to finally cancel my membership. Once there the owner tells me how canceling is a bad idea and how covid isn't a big deal. I continued to tell her that I still wanted to cancel and I didn't feel safe and didn't know when I would. But she continued to tell me how I was going to do more harm than good to which I replied that I wasn't happy with the way this conversation was going and that I was done. To which she replied "how about we put you on a 6month hold and then you can come back." I was obviously fed up and told her that she could do that but I would not be returning or paying for this gym anymore. Six months later I was hit with a bill to which I got taken off my card because I was forced to stay on this 6month hold and they continued to charge me every month and sending it to...
