I want to stare this review off by stating the reason for the 5 stars is strictly for the algorithm and will be in the few reviews seen by the community.
I am an independent contractor serving community members in Kirkwood, Glendale, Crestwood, Sunset Hills and surrounding municipalities. I received a batched offer for two clients. The first was small order with one small box of three items. The second, to this business, was for 105lbs. of powdered sugar, 80lbs. of milk, and 20lbs. of bananas along with a 4lbs. Box of salt.
Upon arriving to this location, there was no one there to meet me with a dolly, so I had to deliver each of the three boxes myself. Luckily there was a customer who graciously helped me out with the door. After completing the batch, I checked my earnings. I was warned by another driver that this business did not tip on their delivery requests. The customer with the small order tipped $10 while this business tipped nothing.
I understand small franchise owners want to circumvent the fees associated with wholesale distributors, however, we are independent contractors and 90% of our earnings come from tips by the customer. To deliver such a large order that constitutes an inventory delivery and leave no tip is disrespectful. As members of the Crestwood community, we can and should support one another. Out of all the businesses in this area, not one has ever requested service without tipping. Not one. I also can understand an individual not having the funds for a tip because this service is a luxury service, but from a business is completely unacceptable.
I know there are at least 8 drivers on this particular platform and have notified them of all the information of this business. I have warned them not to accept requests from this location nor patron this location until this changes. Crumble Cookies are decent cookies, but not on par with Hot Box cookies right down the street in Kirkwood. If we want cookies, we could save money for better homemade tasting cookies and we could be using our time servicing customers who value our time.
Until this location values our time and service, we will not be making deliveries to Crumble Cookies in Crestwood until this issue is rectified. I would also recommend that the franchise owner utilize the plethora of other wholesale distributors for their inventory...
Read moreI went to Crumble Cookie for the 1st time when I seen a new one open near me in the old Crestwood Plaza area. Sure the cookies are great, but too sweet for me not my granddaughter. But Cookie Crumble as a whole definitely needs to do an upgrade on their convenience for all customers. After I made my selection and paid I was handed the box. I asked for a bag for the fact I walk with a cane and it would not have been an easy task for me to open the door on exiting carrying a box and walk to my car with that box in one hand and using my cane to walk in the other hand. The employee offered to bring the box outside and I could pull up to the business and she would give it to me through my car window. This was nice that she did this, but should never have had to happen. Why would it be so hard to have bags for handicapped people to be able to easily come in to the store to make a purchase and walk out with their purchase in a bag. If it had been busy the associate would not have been able to walk away from the counter to assist me. FYI Cookie Crumble, Taco Bell has the perfect bags that would make it possible for a handicapp person to come into your store and leave carrying their purchase to their vehicle. PLEASE GET BAGS FOR YOUR...
Read moreThe store was extremely clean. The moment, I walked in, my nostrils were hit statisfying scents of freshly baked goods. I had never been to Crumbl before and was unsure of their pricing. I asked several employees (5 to be exact) one finally gave me an answer. I purchased a Pecan pie (personal size), it roughly cost $8. The pie was good but over priced to me. The packaging was great as well. I gave 3 stars because, I'm really big on customer service. To have good or great customer service you must know the products you're selling, price points, ingredients, etc. I was truly blown away, that five (5) employees did not understand their pricing. They definitely should work on this, ensuring their employees are aware of sales, pricing...
