Didn't have any clue of how to fix my a/c in my car. Not helpful with anything including my schedule of when I could get the car fixed plus they weren't wearing masks to protect me from Covid-19 when looking at my car and talking to me. If I'm wearing a mask then they should as well. RESPONSE TO REPLY OF OWNER TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I totally disagree with your response to my review. You and the guy with you had your masks pulled down. I told you that due to it being my only car and with it being a highly valuable sports car, I did not feel comfortable leaving it with you for 3 days! Especially after you beat on a part underneath my hood, with your fist about 10 times, as I sat in the car trying to show you what sound it was making by reving it up to show the high line was freezing up! This was an A/C problem that just needed an evacuation and recharge! You shouldn't have used your fist to knock and hit ANY part of MY car! It's as if you were trying to break something so I would have to leave it! If that is the way you treat cars while the customer is sitting in it, what would you do if the customer wasn't around for 3 days?!? 🤔🤔🤔 Do you treat your car this way? Would you want someone treating anything you brought in, to have repaired, treated this way? A car, a watch or anything of value? If they slammed your watch on the counter and then said you're going to have to leave it, would you? I have never had anyone at any automotive shop beat on a part under my hood as hard as you did that day! You didn't address that behavior in your response at all! I don't know what you were trying to accomplish but it made me very uncomfortable as a 1st time customer, seeing someone treat my engine that way when we weren't even in a bay, we were just out front of the entrance! It has been repaired and it only took an hour! I had to go with my gut feeling telling me something wasn't right after seeing you hit my engine parts 10 times and then wanted me to leave it for 3 days to fix it! Your specific website says you are "A/C Repair Specialist!" But you needed 3 days to put gauges on it to tell me if it was low on refrigerant or not as to why my high line was covered in heavy frost?? If you don't want a negative review then treat your customers AND their cars with respect and courtesy so they feel comfortable leaving their cars with you, knowing it is in good hands. Here's a tip: Don't beat on any part of a customers car with your fist! It's not a common practice, especially with high performance sports cars! We're kind of picky about that since we're the ones who paid...

Yesterday, a good Samaritan flagged me and let me know I had a flat tire. I pulled into the first place I saw that might be able to help - this shop. Little did I know how blown away I would be by their service and professionalism.
First, they gave me a quote to patch the tire before they did a thing and made sure I was ok with it. Then, when I expressed worry that I would be late to pick up my son from school, they offered to take me. The owner took my right over to the school and sat in the car rider line for at least 15 minutes and didn't complain!
When we got back and they had taken the tire off to patch it they realized that the rim had nearly worn it through. They didn't just tell me to take their word for it, they brought it in to show me and make sure I understood. They explained why it wasn't safe and offered to have a new tire in for me the next day. Again, they got a quote for me to make sure I was ok with it. In the meantime, they moved my back tire to the front and moved my spare on the back so it would be safer for the night. When they gave me the quote, I was a little concerned about the price, and they said, 'No problem. We'll hold the tire and if you decide you don't want it because you find a better deal, we'll just return it. It's up to you!" They sent me on my way and wished me good luck. (Incidentally, I looked it up and the price was about what I'd paid for the tire a month before)
When I called back and let them know I found out my tire was under warranty and I didn't need the tire, they said "Great!' and seemed genuinely happy for me. They had offered to dispose of the bad tire before, so it was still at the garage. I came back and they cheerfully loaded it into the trunk for me and again expressed happiness for me that the tire was covered.
Earlier that day, while the owner waited in the car rider line with me, we talked and he explained to me why he'd gotten into this business. He said that he wanted to have a shop where the staff never had to lie to make a deal, where they treated people well, and where they just do what was right for a fair price. Lots of shops will say this.Yesterday, Christian Brothers Crestwood let their actions prove those words.
I may not have purchased anything from Christian Brothers today, but they have definitely earned my business...
Read moreMy first experience with Christian Brothers Automotive in 2019 was just to get a second opinion after I was told from a very reputable place in Louisville that my front end alignment would cost $1000 on my 2001 Ford focus that had about 240,000 miles. Obviously that’s more than what the car is even worth. I was told that the cost was so high because the Ford focus has special tooling and the components were difficult to work on. Christian brothers auto is about a mile from my house, so I thought I would just give them a call just to get their opinion. I brought the car in and it cost me roughly a little bit over $100 to complete the job that was quoted at another facility at over $1000. From there I was sold.
Then two weeks ago 11/2020, my car had been gradually getting louder and louder. I called around for estimates on motor mounts and they ranged anywhere from 2 to 3 to $400. I took it in to Christian Brothers and they only charged me $100 to start with changing just one motor mount to see if that would decrease the noise. Wow what a wonderful surprise that one motor mount quiet the car considerably and I’m happy. No need to address any other motor mounts. Also got a wheel alignment. They could have easily charged me to change two or even three of the motor mounts that would’ve drove the price to three to $400
Oh also want to add they are very timely. They told me that my car would be done by 6 o’clock and they called me at 5 o’clock and told me it’s ready.
Christian brothers is very honest business. They had two chances to do extra work but they did not. They did what was needed to fix the problem ,that’s it ,no extras. I highly recommend Christian...
