Hometown Pizza - Crestwood — Restaurant in Crestwood

Not a great Hometown location in Louisville. We do takeout a couple times a month as it's close to home, 6/10 of our orders are correct. I order at the Middletown location for work and it is far better, more accurate and better service.

Recently I was here to pickup a takeout order, they had our pizzas ready but accidentally burned the breadsticks. Instead of giving me the next breadsticks of the right size that were ready, they handed out a couple dozen more orders to people who came after me, and put an entire new order in that I had to wait for, and then they realized they had to remake our pizzas that were, by that point, cold. I got home an hour later- 90 min after I had ordered, and of course paid full price as I had paid online when I ordered. They did offer a free fountain drink while I waited...

Tonight's "colossal cheese" order was mistakenly made a regular cheese; we have often had toppings forgotten, put on the wrong sides, etc (which matters with kiddos who only eat certain toppings). When it's right it's GREAT food, at this location it's just impossible to rely on getting...

OH MY GOSHHHHHHHH CLOSE THIS PLACE OR HIRE NEW MANAGER!!!!

Yes my 82 year old father and I came in at 21:30 but the young staff WANTED OUT!!

They poured all of the iced tea out already. My dad only drinks tea. They approached us 10 minutes before closing (TWO employees) and said, "Uhhh could you guys hurry up a little because we are closing and need to leave"

They approached us a SECOND time! 5 minutes later and the other one rolled her eyes ( she was young of course) they wanted NO PART OF US BEING THEREl )

It sort of upset my dad as he couldn't eat that fast. They said, "you can just box it up and eat it when you get home because we closed".

I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE EVEN OF OFFERED FREE MEALS FOR LIFE.

WHAT A SAD STAFF AND I blame management 1,000%.

I have told friends and family about this and hope the employees learn how to be professional. I've seen MUCH better treatment from the same age groups elsewhere.

My dad lives near there and was hoping for good service but got treated like a teenager.

Please don't treat ANY other elders this...

The young girl who took my order was gracious, but the kitchen staff argued over who was going to make our carryout order, even after the young girl told them to shut up & make the order. The 2 salads consisted of 6 whole leaves of baby romaine, 3 tomatoes and 4 small pieces of chicken (pizza toppings), stacked nicely in a pile. While the salads were being made, I watched the guys who were waiting to make the pizzas eat toppings right out of the bins (sausage, pepperoni & a pinch of cheese), repeatedly. I called and spoke to the Mgr who didn't seem to know what to say, only he'd talk to the night crew. Unfortunately we won't be back as I'm not paying $22 for 12 pieces of lettuce(6 per salad). Not to mention all the personal food/drinks the guys on the line had sitting/eating where food is made. I know it's hot out and the store was very hot, but they should know you can't have personal food/drinks around...
