After 2.5 years, a few thousand dollars, and inspections by multiple mechanics, the problem with the jeep compass purchased from Glenn Chrysler has been identified! A corroded dent in the left front submount frame was found. My goal was never to be angry, have feelings that originated from obvious negligence, or bring disruption to the flow of a business. That is not my personality. But 95% of my dealing with Glenn Chryler was a nightmare. If a company, like Glenn Chrysled, is going to offer a product, then they should stand behind it, be attentive to what they are charging people money for, and offer decent customer service. There were 2 mechanics at Glenn Chrysler that did an excellent job at trying to help when I'd taken the jeep to be looked at because of issues noticed shortly after buying it. I'd explained to those 2 mechanics that I'd lost my previous behicle in a traumatic incident and was seeking a solution to the problem with this major purchase I'd just made from Glenn Chrysler. They were understanding and offered their input, communicated their ideas and shared their automotive expertise. Beyond that experience with them, however, it felt like being punished for naively buying a damaged vehicle and then trying to find out what the problem was. I understand not every place can have a full working knowledge or history on everything they sell, all the time. It'd be unfair to believe that. But the lack of attention, poor customer service, and inability to offer any type of possible solution or loyalty to one's product was alarming. What i bought from Glenn Chrysler was a ticking time bomb. Repairs over the course of 2.5 yrs included the following: TWO sets of lower control arms. Brakes, rotors, calipers 3x. Shocks and struts 2x. A set of 4 brand new tires. And another used tire, to replace the one that had a nail in it the day it was driven off the lot. A new battery. On day number 3. All on a vehicle that currently has 81,000 miles. The extra warranty purchased with the jeep covered 1 replacement of lower control arms. Nothing else. The dent in the subframe mount has been causing parts to wear out far sooner than they should. If a person wants to take a huge gamble, Glenn Chrysler is the place for that. Unknowingly, this is what I did and sadly, lost. I hope for the hard-working, honest citizens trusting in Glenn Chrysler, that this is not the case. The stress it caused was debilitating. But if anyone finds they are on the losing end with them, i hope they treat you far more human than i felt they...
Read moreThis is absolutely the worst dealership I have ever had to work with. I never write reviews but this experience has been so awful hopefully I can save someone some trouble. I bought my 2021 Hyundai palisade from here in April 2025 it was talked up and we were told nothing but great things about this vehicle. We went to sign papers and were given extremely high and unreasonable prices. We told them we did not feel comfortable with those numbers and would pass on the vehicle. They then told us a more reasonable price and rate so we decided to go ahead with the purchase. We ended up being passed around through multiple salesman and told multiple things throughout the buying process. Fast forward we go to make the first payment and our loan is almost double the amount the vehicle was listed for. We call the dealership and they tell us that the added price is for warranty/ gap and service contract. Which I understand raises the price of a vehicle but the amount it went up was almost double the price. The staff here have been nothing but hateful and not willing to communicate with us at all. Both my fiancé and I have called and left voicemails multiple times trying to figure out the extra charges on our loan. Never once given a clear explanation. Then less than a month after having this vehicle the engine started missing as well as it would fail to start. As well as the first time I opened my sun roof it became stuck open and will not close. Again multiple calls made to Glenn dealership. Left voicemails multiple times again and never received a call back. Finally get through to someone just to be told to go to a Hyundai store and hung up on. I end up driving down and I live 40 minutes away in Indiana. Asked for GM was passed around to a bunch of other people. Was treated horribly and told basically oh well you signed it it’s not our problem take it Hyundai. Very poor customer service. No compassion for buyers at all. They refuse to service our vehicle or give us a loaner to get around in. Now I’m stuck with a broken vehicle and have to attempt to get another dealership to work something out with me. You would think the place that got 40k out of a 25k vehicle would be more willing to help its customers when the vehicle breaks down in less than a month. Don’t expect help here. They’ll just send...
Read moreDo not buy from here. I bought a Ford Explorer back in August and here’s how my experience went: 1) I accidentally left my garage door opener in the car and texted my salesman to ask if he would mail it. But after days of him not returning calls or texts, he decided to then tell me he won’t be mailing it until I send them the title (so holding it hostage). Mind you, I kept trying to ask them if I needed to sign anything on the title before I mailed it but would never get a response. After a week, I finally got it. So poor communication was the first red flag. 2) part of my agreement when buying my car was they would fix the radio and a tire pressure monitor. The radio was a 12 inch screen where only half of it worked. It’s one of the main features I was drawn to and I loved it, so was excited that they said they would fix it. I was told they would call me when the parts came in. After a month, I called in to check in and the same day I was told I could bring it in (another red flag that after weeks of waiting, the parts were all of a sudden ready the same day I called). I was told it would just be an overnight, possibly a couple days to fix it. Turns out, it took them 3 weeks to finish it because they never had the parts. When I went to pick it up, my 12 inch screen was gone and just a standard radio screen was in its place. After questioning about it, I was told “there would be electrical problems” if they put another one in. And then after more questions, I learned they decided to just give me a refurbished radio, not even a new one to compensate the fact that they took out that main feature they knew I loved. I was also told that it costed them $3000 to replace it. I called the shop that did the repair and the total was less than $800. So I was ripped off and lied to on that part. 3) took them over a month to send in the title transfer paperwork to the BMV, which caused issues with the temporary tag they gave me because in Indiana, it takes up to 21 days for them to process the paperwork once they receive it. Luckily, I was able to get a new temp plate but it just added onto the stress. Overall, just a crap...
