When Kmart and Xpect closed in Cromwell,CT the town of Cromwell,CT decided to put another supermarket in the town of Cromwell,CT at the shops at cromwell square and a supermarket for Middlesex county because you only had 3 supermarkets in Middlesex county and in the town of Cromwell,CT Price-Rite of Cromwell,CT Stop & Shop and Walmart Supercenter but then Shop-Rite decided to join with the supermarket chain in the town of Cromwell,CT and Middlesex county because you only had Price-Rite and Stop and Shop residents who live in Cromwell,CT was glad Shop-Rite came to Cromwell,CT because when Shop-Rite wasn't in Cromwell,CT residents were going to Stop & Shop Price-Rite Big Y Rocky Hill Price Chopper Middletown,CT and Aldi Middletown,CT but people were tired of driving far to shop at Shop-Rite the residents had to travel from Cromwell,CT to the towns of Wallingford,CT Southington,CT or East Hartford,CT to shop for groceries at Shop-Rite and now people don't have to travel far to go...

Overall, basic needs met and this area is always kept clean. Stores are random so depends on your preferences but hope they bring in some more popular brands. I'm always there for UPS and AAA. Conveniently located just doors away from each other. Abundant free parking always available, with many wheelchair-friendly spots too. Sushi restaurant isn't bad. New Pizza place just opened up, not too long ago. Reviews are ok but we prefer driving to Mondos in Middletown. KFC has been there, but I can't recommend that one. There's a delicatessen also, but very limited items, small location, mom&pop establishment and I prefer Roly Poly in...

Only a shadow of what it was. Many good stores have left. I wonder why that is ?!! I know the "Cromwell Pharmacy" of years ago left because square footage got too expensive. "Hogies Ribs" which were very successful moved back to the city for the same reason. Do you suppose that is part of the problem ? The new ShopRite looks to be doing well. It provides a great alternative to Stop & Shop who's prices were unchallenged for a long time in this 'convenience area' for Cromwell and Middletown boarder. I haven't much for input about Marshalls and don't feel...
