Mary's Country Store & Antiques — Local services in Cuba

This store is right next door to Two Old Crowes and it's another lovely place to visit. We weren't greeted or asked if we needed anything until it looked like we were going to buy something, what a shame. However, the buliding is as beautiful as the one next door, organized, clean, well curated and no junk. The prices seemed fair, although since each vendor sets their own prices, some of them were very high. Parking is easy, credit cards are accepted and there are antiques, vintage, primitives and home crafted art all very well displayed. We will definitely...

OK, you all know I visit antique stores big time. In Cuba, there are 2 right next to each other. This is one of them, and the staff was friendly, but understand it's a country antique mall. Lots of crockery, signs, glassware, coins, chosky items , and new stuff. Many people like those styles, but it's not my cup of tea, so to speak. I go more for art deco, Mid-Century Modern, Fifties. Sixties and Seventies. That's why I take pictures. If these are items you're interested in, have fun...

So much to look at!! We were looking for kitchen table chairs specifically, so we didn't spend too much time looking at all the other treastures... but I did find a super cute pitcher that I turned into a planter for my aloe plant. Next time we go by there we'll definitely spend more time just looking around...
