AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I took my brand new Toyota Camry to have a single 12 inch subwoofer installed along with upgraded internal speakers. At first Dewayne came off as a respectable guy that did honest and good work. When the day came to have everything done Dewayne seemed to be in a big hurry to just throw everything together as quickly as possible. While I was at his shop observing his work and how he was doing everything he snapped a wire connected to my sub. He claimed with some tape it would be a quick fix, this was not true. After I got past the break in stage of the system I immediately started having problems. The audio would continuously disconnect and only bass would be playing. I contacted Dewayne via text messages multiple times with most of them not even getting a reply. Finally I got a reply saying he was going to order me a new audio interface box on Saturday feb. 24, without hearing a word from him I decided to message him again on March 24th which happened to be a Sunday (keep in mind I was given his personal phone number to make appointments and keep him updated with how it was going) just for him to very rudely text me back saying how it boggles his mind on why people think it’s okay to message him on a Sunday. All he had to do was wait until Monday to get back to me or just say “hey man I know you’ve been having issues I’d be more than happy to take care of you on Monday” but no it was just disrespect. I then waited to hear from him and decided that the following Thursday I should message him again. He finally gets back to me and now all of a sudden he has to take my part out and send it off for repair. I ask him if he ever even ordered the new interface box like he previously said he was gonna do and he comes back with “I did. They’re out of stock” (keep in mind it’s been over a month since he said he was ordering a new one so why was I not made aware of that sooner?)We set up the appointment I go in and without telling me anything he just goes in takes out a part to my system and says have a good day to which I reply when should I expect to have audio again? He then decides to get real up close and personal and very disrespectful and raises his voice saying he has no way of telling me a time frame or anything along those lines and says he’ll get it when he gets it. A month goes by and finally I’m fed up with it so I call just for him to say “I have a brand new one sitting right here I can just put it in for you( almost certain he just threw my old one back in and let me go) so I start having the same problem the same day I pick my car up from him “fixing it” and I message him yet again stating I’m still having the same issue but now it’s happeneing more often. He replies and says he’ll get me in whenever possible to which I reply with “okay sounds great just let me know” another three weeks goes by and I hear nothing. I got to the point to where I was done with him and his games so I took my car to RadioShack to have it inspected and see what the problem was. The awesome guys at radio shack didn’t even need to pull anything apart to tell me it looked like a 4 year old put it together and if one of their guys did it like Dewayne did they would have been fired on the spot. He was so lazy that he just draped the wire come ting to the battery across the back of my engine on the coolant lines (which is a HUGE fire hazard). I then let him Know about this review that I’m writing and he then threatens to sue me if I post it. This guy has terrible manners, doesn’t seem like he fully knows what he’s even doing, and is a huge headache to deal with for me and just about everyone that has visited his shop it seems like. I would not recommend him to anyone other than my enemies. If you guys want some quality work done by guys that have respect for their customers and do the job right, go to radio shack they charged me a fraction of what Dewayne charged me which was $2000 for everything, and I haven’t had a single problem since. Can’t wait to see what happens regarding a negative review from a paying customer.

Priced better then the quick install shops. Very informative. Real custom system.

I shopped around for the best value. Looking for a system to sound better then anything dodge offered. The method of “custom” from the other shops left me feeling uncomfortable. My car is a 22 dodge challenger and 2 separate shops had speaker sizes incorrect. To elaborate, the internet is full of mistakes by DIYers and the others quoted the same mistakes. After all info from Autosounds the quote came in far cheaper then any speaker package from dodge.

Through the whole process Autosounds went into great detail per component and why it was select. Being the person I am, I took to the internet to dive deep into each component. This man has the knowledge!

He went into detail about matching speaker directions with the curve of the cab. After set up and tuning, not the knob on an amp, I am impressed with the performance.

Almost 1 month later I am still shocked with the clarity in sounds from brass and symbols in jazz and the deep boom from rap and dubstep.

He is very straightforward and fairly priced. Highly recommend and if you’re not trying to do part yourself. If your on the fence with so many speakers to choose from just...

I made an appointment for my daughter to have her stereo installed today at 1230. She shows up and drops it off on time. She waits till after 2 to go back and get it because we were told it would take about an hour and 45 minutes. The car had not been touched when she arrived back. He said he forgot to write down her appointment but she could call next week and make another appointment. Yes I said next week. There was not a let me make this right and give you the first available appointment date option. His actions have told me that we are not valued as customers. She may be just a teenage girl but her time and money are just as good as anyone else's. Just beware that your appointment doesn't mean a thing evidently. We will be taking our money some where else this week because the lack of customer service shown to my daughter today is unacceptable on...
